I ordered an outfit for a special event and paid 13.95 for fast shipping. The clothing was supposed to be here in 3 days. It never came and now it is 10 days later. I had to purchase another outfit for the event and when I called them to refund the shipping fee, they were very rude and did not help me with a refund. I will not be ordering from them again.

I purchased a pair of pajamas from Soft Surroundings in the Spring. I wore them once and they linted all over my bedding, floors, bathroom etc. I washed them thinking, like towels they would cease to lint in my home but after several washes they did not stop. I contacted customer service and because I wore them and washed them they would not refund or credit my order. They did offer a small credit but would not stand by their product. The customer service person also did not seem to care that I would poorly rate their company. I will be throwing them out today!

The tall lady with glasses was absolutely horrible, disgusting attitude and comically incompetent. She watched my mother and I the whole time when we were in the store, making us feel so uncomfortable, do you have something against Asians? when we wanted to try on some clothes, she practically chased us to the fitting rooms shouting "are you guys trying stuff on?" when I said yes, she was like, you can go, like we are guilty school children. And when she was ringing us up, she rudely told us no apple pay so we have to use card, fine, they when she finally gave us the total, she didn't take into consideration the explicit discount that was buy one get buy 50% off. The whole experience was absurd and I will never ever return to shop there.

This is the shittiest company around. I ordered a quilt in early November as a Christmas gift. Never received any kind of receipt or email confirming my order. The only communication I receive from them are offers for discounts and sales. I have had to call several times to find out where they heck the quilt is already. I can't track my package because I never received any email with the needed info. Today they tell me they had trouble with my card. I ask "Were you going to contact me about it?" They said we did, they did NOT. They say my delivery has been pushed back again (3x)to March. They ask customers to wait 6 months for an order? Winter in New York will be over by then. You are forewarned. Next the BBB.

I ordered 2 velvet shirts in Nov 2020. Black Friday. It took a long time to receive the shirts. About 1 month. I never received notification from them about delays. When I received my order. After Christmas. The shirts did not fit. I returned them. And requested a different size. I had no communication from them So I contacted Soft Surrounding yesterday to ask about the status of my order. And was told that it was on back order until January 30. I was also told that they had no record of canceling. I canceled the order. Customer service is below sub- par. The communication is terrible. I will never order anything again from them. Not worth the. Money or the inconvenience and the inconsiderate customer service

I am a makeup artist in the area and I send a lot of clients here for makeup! I don't think enough people know the amazing collection they have in the back of the store. It's hard to find Jane Iredale in the area and they have a lovely selection. The woman in charge of the makeup is also so kind and helpful. Absolutely lovely experience every time.

Too expensive! Not enough employees. If they don't have something in your size you have to order it and have it delivered to the store. Manny clothing stores like Macy's and Nordstrom's have free delivery to your home. At Soft Surroundings you have to pay for shipping to your home. With the prices they have most certainly they can ship for free to your home. Stay away! Go to Chico's they have free shipping to your home as well.

Clothes are overpriced and hardly have good seasonal sales. If they don't have your size in the store, they charge you $9.95 to deliver it to your house. Rather shop the competition for better prices.

I visited Paramus Park Soft Surroundings store last week. When I walked in, I heard the sales person offering a "welcome discount" to a customer. My first disappointed was that when I signed up and asked for the same discount, the same sales person told me that it's not offered. Probably, my looks? My second disappoint was that a different sales person told me that ordering items and shipping them to the store instead of home would eliminate shipping fees. But she failed to mention that this option is not available online. Ok, I called the store to place my order. The person was busy with another customer, took my name and the phone number, and promised to call me back. It never happened - disappointment again. I placed an order online and paid shipping, just to avoid dealing With that store.

I love all the clothes I've purchased from soft surroundings contrary to what a previous woman wrote, I find the clothes high quality and have received many compliments for the clothing!! I would totally recommend shopping with this company! My favorite top is one I purchased from SS!
