As Jamaican native I love and I support my people. Have given this place three tries. It's all about consistency for me and I'm sorry It does not exist here. This not authentic Jamaican food, but I wish you all the best.

I called to speak to the manager about some products and the woman (some worker) hung up immediately. I called again and asked why did she hang up abruptly and she says "there is no one here for you to talk to" and hung up again. Based on the other poor reviews I strongly advise that people like this should not be in business or NEAR a business place. She is disgusting with a nasty attitude that will bring down the business and it will never go far‼️‼️‼️ If you don't have people skills why go into customer service? Stay home! You can't want people money and treat people like that. FIRE BON? you and your DUTTY WAYS??‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️????????

I don't know how this place is still in business. The food is nasty and the lady at the front counter is even nastier, her attitude. I cannot believe I just wasted $20 on a medium chicken and rice?

I recently ordered carry-out from Mobay Caribbean restaurant, and I have to say that my experience was fantastic! The customer service was great, and my food was ready on time. But the real star of the show was the j*** chicken. It was absolutely amazing! The chicken was tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of heat. I could taste the smoky flavors, and the spices were spot on. It was hands down the best j*** chicken I've ever had.The sides were just as impressive. The rice and peas were perfectly cooked, and the mac and cheese was creamy and delicious. Even the plantains were cooked to perfection - crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I also tried the curry goat, and it was incredible. The meat was fall-off-the-bone tender, and the curry sauce had the perfect balance of spices.Overall, I highly recommend Mobay Caribbean restaurant. The quality of the food is simply amazing, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. If you're looking for authentic Caribbean cuisine, you won't be disappointed. The j*** chicken alone is worth the visit. I can't wait to go back and try more of their menu!

6/29/22 I brought a friend here because years ago, (6+) I use to frequent here as it was the only Caribbean spot and the food was good. Where do I begin. The food is still pricey … The place needs UPDATES, they were using one side of the establishment, the take out area could be a turn off when you walk in which need some serious renovation , The lightening is very dim from when I first came! Yet I went in still stuck on my pass and the food remain outstanding:FOOD: whenever I visit a Caribbean spot late in the day (7pm). Since they are open till 10 pm I always ask what they have left in the kitchen! Because some places cook in bulk only twice a day . So she named ox tails/ browned stew chicken, rice&peas. Basically what we were there for. Our meals were saturated with brown gravy. Over the rice and peas ( which was dry and not fresh) each order had one pinky sized potato wedge. 2 small slices of banana and regular qty of fried plantain (3) , and a large amount of cabbage salad , Ox tails were greasy with little meat ( which meant bottom of pot) , the stew chicken was better than the ox tails. Just too much gravy. These are signs the place was running low, I will never say don’t go here … but I will say don’t come after 3 pm. For freshness and quality for take out!

My first time there was last Sunday & I had the oxtail dinner, which was delicious. I asked another customer their favorite, before I ordered. She raved over the salmon & mash potatoes. My oxtail was well done & tasty, I even ate the little fatty parts!!Rice & peas was so on point, I can eat that alone and be satisfied. I also had the sorrel drink, and it was refreshing! The girl at the counter was very pleasant and helpful, even when I had to question things at times, she never lost her cool. Unlike, young people with attitudes, she was a doll. Very respectful. Speaks volumes for the owner & chef. There were a few patrons of all different ethnicities: Blacks, Whites & Asians. I was impressed with the clean, warm & cozy atmosphere. Great place for a date.I returned this Sunday, but they were closed for Memorial Day holiday? Will return. Highly recommend. ❤
