This is truly a co-op artists gallery. Each show is an eclectic mix of many styles and genres. The people involved are interested and form a hub of local creatives, they are welcoming and wonderful. Great place to show your work or buy affordable but quality art.

Art Alliance has been around for near to 40 years. In the past their headquarters was adjacent to Count Basie Theatre. Later moved to where they are now. They have always resided on Monmouth Street. like all art organizations Art Alliance is run by dedicated volunteers...some for 20 years. It is a very casual atmosphere and diversified.

I love this gallery and the people who are there. There's always a lovely group in there and the artwork is always stunning. I have great friends who show their work there and it's always a great time.

Love this place. I used to take watercolor and drawing classes here sometimes with Liz Schippert and her husband Sven Widen. Really informative artists who teach classic technique. Pretty relaxing and really fun.

In my tradition of rating places "for what they are", I give The Art Alliance 5 stars as a co-op art organization. For a very low annual fee, a new artist can exhibit along side professional artists in wonderful monthly exhibits. Members receive a newsletter that keeps them informed of upcoming exhibits. Their dedicated staff is all composed of volunteers whose commitment shows. A variety of art classes are also available. So, for new artists, this is a great opportunity for you; become a member! For experienced and well established artists; you will be in great company. For art lovers, you can come just to look. There is always a beautiful, fresh, new show hanging in the walls!
