Edit: after a previously great experience at the salon for children we return for haircuts again, and which I did not go as planned. I came with the intentions of only getting one child cut, but at the end of the cut, the lady offered to do the second child as well. I asked him to go shorter on the second cut in which the woman responded that it wouldn’t be good and refused to do it.. during the first cut, I asked for a specific style and the woman told me she was unable to do so, and cut it in her own way. A typical boys haircut, which is not what we had asked for. Moving forward to payment. The man at the counter said one child’s name, and I corrected him and let him know that we had a second haircut I said, and she trimmed up my other son too. He then proceeded to walk to the woman and then come back and say well she claims she did multiple boy haircuts so you have to pay for two of them and I explained that I literally just told him that she did his hair too, and he tried in front of other customers and people to make me look like I lied to him to get something cheap or free. I’m so disappointed in this experience and we won’t be returning. Both children did not get the desired cut and then the man at the counter was rude as if I was a liar when I told him exactly that I needed to pay for multiple cuts. Not interested in returning. Expensive and they only know how to do one cut. Will not be backI took my 3 year old for a haircut today. Nila was his stylist, she had great suggestions for his cut and so much patience with my toddler and was able to finish the cut quickly and encourage my toddler to not be afraid of the cut. Really enjoyed the experience

Took my kids here for the first time and the experience was FANTASTIC! My three year old has a hard time with new experiences so we delayed her first haircut but she loved this entire experience. I was able to make a short notice appointment and both kids were done in less than 20 minutes. Definitely recommend!Services: Kids' cuts

The stylist Mila was very kind and gentle with our child, but I wish I knew that it's basically a toy store where you can get hair cut. Toys and temptation everywhere. After the haircut turned into a nightmare because our child wanted all of the toys of course. Tears, kicking and screaming all the way home. We sadly cannot return because of all of the toys, and I mean LOTS. Need to find a new place that does haircuts, and only haircuts, without the toy upsells. If your kid can handle this, then it's a great place for a haircut!Service: Kids' cuts

I have been taking both my kids since they were babies. They both got there first hair cut there and we always use Maria such an amazing women. My son is now 11 and daughter 8. My daughter always leaves with a BIG smile. Thank you

We have a two year old boy who does not like sitting still (a serious understatement) and haircuts can be very challenging but Nila was very friendly and efficient and even serenaded our little one with a song and got the job done without drawing a drop of blood. The toy selections offered there are perfect for rewarding your little one for not freaking out too much and making things all better! We will keep coming back!Service: Kids' cuts

We went for our sons first haircut and Maria was amazing! She was so good at keeping him smiling and distracted. Perfect place for children’s haircut with the TVs and toys! We will be coming back for his next haircut even though it’s an hour from home!

No introductions (had to ask hair stylist name, and introduce her to my 2.5 daughter who was getting her first cut). Didn’t explain anything to her - for example, just started aggressively spraying her head (including face) with water and getting her head wet. My daughter had no idea what was going on. No small talk as it was happening, and absolutely no excitement for her first haircut. The ‘bow’ (Bobby pin) was a nice touch, but she didn’t even ask what color my daughter wanted. Larissa and I talked about shampoo and conditioner at the end of the cut, and when I was checking out, I asked and she suggested mouse and cream (that I said during the appt I wasn’t interested in) not the shampoo and conditioner. Then I asked the girl at the front desk questions about the products and she couldn’t answer them. Overall, for my first child’s first haircut I wanted something special and this experience was beyond underwhelming.

This place is wonderful as far as atmosphere and the people who work there to make it a truly positive and easy experience for your little one. 5 stars is a bit of a hard sell for me but if I were to pick a negative it would be that If you schedule their first appointment of the day, they are not always open on time. Punctuality is a huge thing for me as far as appointments and keeping them. So to avoid this, the best strategy is always to just not schedule the first appointment of the day. Otherwise, hands down a great place for the kids experience. I recommend this place strongly for a first cut or even if you are looking to build your child's confidence with getting their hair cut.
