Definitely more than 5 stars! An incredible place to live! Excellent apartments! Modern, comfortable, and excellent location! The cleaning and maintenance staff, along with the office department, do a great job every day! Very happy to have lived here for about 7 years. Thank you, Grey Star!

I've been renting since I was 18/19, and this leasing process has been one of the worst I've experienced - nothing but a headache. Usually, at least at the leasing stage the leasing agents would be responsive, but this is far from my case. I am not happy with the way the leasing agent I was assigned handles things - he ignores all of my emails and I usually have to call after a few weeks to get someone else to respond to me.
The 3 stars are for the location, community (people seem friendly and respectful) and advertised amenities.
I was approved end of June, and since then it has been like pulling teeth to get any response to my emails. I still haven't signed the lease yet (although I have my security deposit) because I have yet to see the apartment in a move in ready condition even though it was advertised with a 8/11/25 move in date. I have to follow up multiple times over the course of weeks for EVERYTHING. I am moving here in 2 weeks and cannot say I am excited.
***Edit to say that so many speak highly of a Marcela. I don't know if she is the woman I happened to speak with while I was waiting for my leasing agent to arrive, but if so, the reviews are true as to her. She was very nice, professional and helpful even though I did not have the pleasure of working with her. ***

We’ve been living here for almost two years now, and we absolutely love it! Our apartment is spacious, clean, and everything fits perfectly. Even though we have a one-bedroom apartment, it’s more than enough for two people. We’ve set up two working spaces with desks and chairs: one in the bedroom and the other in the living room. There’s so much space here, it’s amazing!
We also really appreciate the office managers and service workers. They’re always so responsible and dedicated to their jobs.
The area around our apartment is also fantastic. Sam’s Club and Walmart are just a short walk away, and there’s an hotel area across the street with a variety of restaurants. Oh, and there’s a big cinema just a 10-minute walk away!
And of course, this apartment complex is super close to Manhattan. There’s a bus stop just a 2 minutes’ walk away, and you can reach Manhattan in about 20 minutes during off-peak hours and 30-35 minutes during peak hours. That’s pretty convenient, right? You can be in your office (door-to-door) in just an hour or even less!

Let me rewrite what I wrote first, silence. The respect of the people living there. The friendly and nice conversations of the employees in the office with me. I can also add this. If you are thinking of safe, silent, easy access, close to Manhattan and NYC, close to shopping markets. This is the right place. Thank you.

.Many residents, unfortunately, do not follow the community policies. As a result, we often see garbage left on the floor in the trash room, Walmart shopping carts abandoned near the elevators, and excessive noise during nighttime hours. Additionally, children under the age of 16 are frequently seen roaming the building and using amenities such as the pool and gym without adult supervision.
The playroom is often left in disarray—there have been multiple incidents of the TV being broken,. Parents are not encouraging their children to clean up after themselves, which contributes to the mess.
These behaviors are often tolerated by management. There appear to be no consequences for repeated violations, and community policies are not being consistently enforced. Furthermore, there is a perception that some residents receive preferential treatment from management due to shared ethnic or cultural backgrounds, which raises concerns about fairness and favoritism.

I have been living here since 2023, and the place has a great management team, especially Marcela. She is very responsive, always available to help, and has a wonderful attitude. She never hesitates to assist whenever needed. The entire management team truly cares about the residents, making the living experience here exceptional.
The maintenance team is also outstanding, they are always available, respectful, and friendly. It’s clear that the management is dedicated to providing a great living environment.
If you’re looking for a place in this area, look no further than this one!

I recently moved into Harper and couldn’t be happier with the experience. Christopher Chin, our leasing manager, went above and beyond, offering prompt responses and support every step of the way. Thanks to him, our move-in was smooth and stress-free. The apartment itself feels clean, and spacious

Best of both worlds between NJ and NYC at The Harper. Beautiful living spaces, high quality amenities, excellent shuttle service to Secaucus Junction Station for commuters, and very calm and quiet pocket in the neighborhood. The leasing team is also phenomenal. Chris and Marcela are my go-to's for everything from finding a package to renewing my lease. They go above and beyond with taking care of residents and actively create events to build the community life here. Chris in particular is highly responsive to any questions I have and always calls me back same day as soon as updates go his way. He was very supportive in my most recent lease renewal and I am excited to continue this season with this community. Life at The Harper is an easy recommendation for anyone looking for a premium lifestyle.

Initially I planned on leaving a different review but life is about perspective, you can focus on the good things or let the negative have a hold on you.
The front desk staff is as professional as you can get. Nafis, Chris and I forget the name of their colleague who’s sits adjacent to them my apologies, have always been good to me. They are kind, courteous and willing to assist on all counts.
I would like to thank Nafis Wright and highlight his work ethic on making sure my stay was as comfortable as it could be. Without Nafis I would have left a review slightly lower but due to his professionalism, attention to detail and willingness to assist on ALL NEEDS I truly am grateful. Thank you Nafis for always assisting me during my residency.
My only complaint is they charged me for a cleaning fee after I moved out which was a first. I cleaned thoroughly but still had to pay to prepare for the next tenant which someone has to pay. Also there is a shuttle to Secaucus Junction in the Am that’s consistent , take advantage of this free service. In the Pm it’s not so reliable.

Great apartment, rooms are spacious, plenty of amenities to choose from and an easy commute to Port Authority.
