If you have a choice skip using Avis at TTN airport, unprofessional staff who lack basic customer service skills. Also examine your receipt closely they emailed mine which didn’t hit my inbox until I was at my final destination. They charges me for fuel when I returned the car full just as I received it. Very disappointing that a reputable brand like AVIS would practice this deception. This explains why the attendant at the Avis counter refused to give me a paper copy of my invoice at the time of the return when I would have seen the added charge and able to dispute it on the spot. Now I have tried calling and getting no response. AVIS DO BETTER !

Fantastic Experience with Avis Car Rental! The staff are incredibly accommodating and always go above and beyond to ensure a smooth rental process, Andre, Valeria and Nesiba are THE BEST!!! They gave me a vehicle that I could not operate. They say this was the vehicle that they had. I did more time trying to figure out how to work the vehicle find stations to fill the car up because it was an energy car. There was not a lot of places so my entire vacation I did more trying to find how to fill it up at one of those energy stops Versus gas station I miss my sisters graduation for nursing school. It took me 30 minutes for her to even try to show me how to use it. I’m just so disappointed with Avis because they should’ve had more than one car. You just don’t give me a car feel like I know how to use it everyone don’t know how to work Every vehicle I wish I would’ve went somewhere else to rent my vehicle. I would never been treated like this.

Although they offer rental on electric cars to customers, what I can't believe is that they don't have easy access to charging stations on their premises nor does the staff know if their are any nearby stations. Would be much more convenient if they had them on the premises or near the airport since it's a frequented rental car company.

The attendants at the Trenton Airport Avis location are very friendly, helpful and accommodating as much as they can be due to restrictions or constraints out of their control. They should have more autonomy to do more for the customer to keep us happy. Especially the frequent renters! The wait time at this location can be a bit unbearable at times as there are only 1-2 attendants on at any given time and during peak hours at the airport there can be up to 12 people waiting for service. I like renting w/Avis but hope they start to do more to make the customer experience much better!

We have used Avis at the Mercer County airport for years. They have without fail gone over and above With fantastical service they have become a very important part of our business. Be warned that they only open at 9. My flight boards at 9:36 and they didn't tell me ahead of time that the business hours don't line up with the one flight that leaves today and I may miss my flight. There's only 1 airline here. Tried to complain with customer service but they just hung up on me 3x.Update: customers were waiting outside office, had to bang on door for attention as they opened up a few min past 9. No apology for lateness or acknowledgement that we're all ill informed and concerned about flight. Received a lot of attitude from the lady behind counter wearing a hoodie.

The staff here is amazing. I received a clean vehicle, and great service.1) They provide SHUTTLE service between Airport and the AVIS location. You could call them to send one if you don't see an AVIS/BUDGET shuttle waiting for you already.2) They Accept AFTER HOURS RETURN (ask them for instructions on how to do this).Good Experience with my rental from here. Truly amazing!

I prepaid for my vehicle, and my vehicle was downgraded from a full-size to a compact. I was not informed, and it was not acknowledged until I mentioned I had reserved and paid for a full-size. No price adjustment was provided. I asked repeatedly for a discount and was told one could not be offered because the current rate of the compact exceeded the amount I paid for the full-size. I explained the current rate for the full-size is currently still more than the compact and that the rate differential should be based on this factor. After returning the vehicle, I received an email receipt with roughly $30 in addtl charges. After reviewing the receipt I could not determine why. I called customer service who informed me they changed the daily rate and should not have. The amount was said to be refunded. Just sloppy.

Here’s the thing. This location is not suited for busyness. The moment the staff gets overwhelmed they are rude, but if they are able to manage the line, then they’ll be nice. People in front of me had cars that weren’t ready and needed to be cleaned. This location only had one person working the counter, and one person cleaning the cars. The shuttle wasn’t running often enough. It honestly was a terrible experience. I missed a funeral because of the amount of time that I waited. My personal rental experience was fine and easy and quick, other than them having to put me in a different car. Everything that happened in front of me in line was awful and I will specifically fly to a different airport just so I didn’t have to rent a car from this location

This is the best car rental in town. I have tried them all in the immediate area and this is my favorite. They are professional and still provide a very personalized experience for your car needs. The cars are in excellent condition.

I feel like Avis in East coast is worst than the West coast. The car was not cleaned properly from inside. Smell of smoke was all over. The alignment was not done properly It started shaking the moment I hit 65+ mph. And the drop off location at Philly airport was just messy. Cars were all over the place and it took a bit to understand where to drop.

I had a delightful experience at the AVIS counter renting a car from Trenton airport. The service was prompt, polite and they went out of their way to make my travels stress free.
