This is my go to place to rent a car because of Sam she is such an asset to this company she is very professional and makes everything so easy and your in and out of there in 5 minutes she goes above and beyond what is asked of her

The Hertz front desk is inside the Hampton Inn diagonally across from the hotel concierge. They should have a sign outside saying so.Web site and booking site says they open at 8am (I reserved online for 8am pickup) however when I got there and asked the hotel front desk staff where the Hertz building is, she was a little snooty and said they dont open until 8:30am but I was asking where the Hertz rental is as there is no clear sign outside.When the Hertz staff did arrive, I waited to give her time to settle in. She was friendly and checkout was super easy.Don't expect to be able to choose your vehicle from this Hertz location though. They have a very limited selection unlike other Hertz sites. You get whatever is on their tiny lot behind the hotel. Unlike the other larger Hertz sites however, the interior of the vehicle looked clean. The exterior was dusty and unwashed though - not an issue but it's easier to see any damage / scratch if it's washed. I usually like to do a walk around to make sure I am not charged for any damage that is already there.

Absolutely HORRIBLE experience .. DO NOT RENT FROM HERE. I normally do not leave reviews, but this was infuriating. I am renting a car through my insurance while my car is in the body shop for repairs. I was instructed by local HERTZ employee to call their location the morning of the rental pick up, so that they could either send someone to pick me up from the auto repair shop or they would send an Uber to get me to Hertz, being that I am carless. This morning, I called their location three different times and was stranded for 50 minutes at the car repair shop waiting for someone from Hertz to contact me-- they never did. After waiting almost an hour, I decided to call my own Uber and asked about reimbursement for the Uber I had to pay for that Hertz were supposed to send. Upon arriving at Hertz, Abid (manager) told me they didn't pick up my multiple calls because they were busy this morning and that they would not be reimbursing me for the Uber, despite the inconvenience and the agreement we had. Ridiculous to offer a service you cannot provide and blame it on being busy, it isn't my fault your location is understaffed. I don't have all day to wait around hoping that someone from Hertz will call me back or pick up the phone. I shouldn't have to hunt down Hertz to do their job and at the very least I should be reimbursed for the unnecessary expense and hour lost this morning. Worst customer service experience ever. If you do rent from here, do not depend on them for pickup or to send a car, you will spend your entire day waiting for a ride that will never come and will come out of pocket for it.

Had a reservation that got canceled literally an hour before. Stating they had no vehicles available in any vehicle type despite what the website advertised. I was using a USAA discounted rate, not sure if that had anything to do with it.

Wouldnt honor military discount even reservation was never canceled and had no issues. Customer service was horrible. Don’t bother wasting your time here

I don't know why people give bad reviews... I was renting cars from ENTERPRISE before but after visiting this location I will never go to any other place..I have rented car from here 3 times and can't believe about pricing service is too good from Both car is great... this time miss Sam was there to help me and she is too professional and humble...Thanks again

I needed a replacement due to accident and they didn't have a small car available.I decided to go and browse the selection and they're trying to charge me even though insurance set up the rental.It's impossible to reach anyone when you call, it's an endless phone loop. Tried again today and was transferred to a line that was never picked up. What is going on here???

I recently rented a car from Hertz Car Rentals, and unfortunately, I had a very poor experience. While the car itself was fine, all of my charges were incorrect. It took three separate calls to Hertz corporate to finally get the issue resolved, which was frustrating and time-consuming. Corporate Hertz is still charging me a few dollars too much. The person on the phone, won’t let me email them my receipt to see where the charges they are charging differ from my receipt. So I’ll leave my receipt here.I couldn't understand how the location I rented the car from could mess up my charges so badly. It's disappointing that a company as large as Hertz could have such poor quality control at one of their locations. I was especially disappointed with the inconvenience and stress of having to make multiple calls to fix the issue.While I'm glad that the problem was eventually resolved, I would caution others to double-check their charges before leaving the rental location. Based on my experience, I can't recommend this particular Hertz location.

This location has vastly improved. In the past I would arrive on time, 8am and wait about a half hour for the guy to show up, always the same guy. This past visit there were 3 people working, all friendly and productive. It also seems like the cars have been updated, there are at least 3 teslas, probably more. The guy who helped me, I unfortunately didn't think to get names, was really helpful. The only car left in the class I reserved was a Tesla and though excited, I was nervous. He took the time to help tell me the basics and features of the car, and what makes it different from a regular gas-powered car. I was going a long way and nervous about how frequently I'd have to charge and his estimate about charging frequency was spot on. Returning the car was just as easy and pleasant. There were two agents at the desk and the available agent swiftly checked the car and confirmed the amount I paid, I was on my way in no time.I am not sure if management switched over or they hired more people but the difference between this visit and visits from the past were day and night. The only reason I did not give five stars is because the car battery was only 50% (not a great way to begin a 200 mile journey) but this is a small issue because I'd rather the reduced battery power over no car available at all! This is my biggest issue with rental centers in general, they tend to let you reserve but often fall short on what they have to offer (I've had forced upgrades more times than I can count, not in this location specifically but in general).

I have been renting from this place for over a year and never had an issue always had great customer service no matter who took care of me. I use to rent from enterprise but there prices are too high and they don't acknowledge their customers like hertz. So no matter where I go I always rent from hertz.
