Great merchandise and great prices coupons are very useful. Mary from the sales staff along with Barbara and Jerry are so professional and helpful. Mary is such a dedicated and helpful sales/ cashier associate.

I had the worst experience at JCP Woodbridge. I purchased a dress for $100 and when I tried to return it , I was told that QR code doesn't match . I tried to talk to the store manager, but she refused to process the return saying the QR code doesn't match. I asked her , if a customer is responsible for the sales associates fault. Super disappointed, few cashiers, the place was messy and few merchandise, the place looked as if it was going to close customer service soon. There weren't many sales, and the prices were a little high for the condition of the store.

Shame on you JC Pennys. Shopped today. Only one register open in Men's and one in Women's at 11:00 am. I waited in line for 30 minutes! Then went upstairs to Children's only ONE register open. Once again I waited 30 minutes to pay! Who's the manager of this store. He should be fired. Or maybe he could learn to work a register. I would have shopped some more but I wasn't waiting in line again. Shame on you Pennys.

I am a frequent shopper at JC Penney Woodbridge and visited yesterday to do Christmas shopping. First, this store should be ashamed of itself for not having decent bags to pack the purchased items in. The bags are so small, I needed 8 small bags to carry the clothes I purchased. This is ridiculous!! It’s Christmas time, order the proper bags for customers to carry their purchased items!! This bag situation did not just start, the same small bags has been used for months and it’s just ridiculous!!! The prices of items hasn’t changed in the store however the quality and size of JC Penney’s bags has and it’s unacceptable and should be changed immediately! If you don’t want to give bigger bags out because of the cost, I suggest you sell the bigger bags like Boscov’s does! This makes no sense! Second, all employees should be trained to work the cash registers. There were plenty of employees walking around not doing anything while the checkout lines were ridiculously long! There was one check out station on the upper level. There was no other check out station open! Third, the online pick up and return area should have more than 1 employee working the counter! I went to pick up my online order however the line was so long and because I was carrying the 8 small bags of purchased items, I left without picking up my online purchase! After leaving the store, I walked to the Dollar store outside the upper level to purchase a large bag with handles! Fourth, the escalator is out of service and such an inconvenience! Why isn’t the escalator working? It’s Christmas time!! Normally, I would be able to take my items to the lower level to pay for my items but couldn’t do that due to the escalator being out of service. This store needs immediate help! Get it together JC Penney Woodbridge!! This store is nothing like it used to be. It’s a disaster and disappointing! I dread going back to pick up my online order! I will be shopping elsewhere!

The 1 star is for the employees at the pickup and return/exchange department are downright rude and arrogant!!!! They act as if they own the store and everyone is inferior to them!! JCPENNY needs to seriously look into such employees behavior!!!The store manager has been very kind and calmly listened to my issue with those employees and assured to escalate the matter!! Hopefully they are taught how to be hospitable towards customers!!!

Absolute worst customer service I've ever experienced in a store. The employees ignore you and when you ask for help they act like you're inconveniencing them. Each employee that we encountered barely even looked up from whatever they were doing. We went to the jewelry department to exchange a piece we purchased, the worker completely ignored us, didn't ask if we needed help and just turned her back to us even though we had approached her. When i finally did get her attention again I said hello and she responded and again turned her back... how clueless. I then had to say excuse me can you help us to which she said yes with an attitude and barely even wanted our receipt. She didn't try to save the sale, last i checked you want to SELL as a jewelry employee. Well, needless to say we didn't exchange or pruchase and just got our money back. Never shopping here again. It's no wonder this particular location and mall is turning into a ghost town.

I found this JCPenney to have a wide variety if everything you need. Definitely more stocked and more options then the one on Staten Island. Cashier was very friendly and store appeared clean. They do have cart but we were unable to locate them. Bathrooms need a better upkeep.

This store needs some improvement. The handicap doors do not work so people with wheel chairs or stroller will always struggle to get in, unless someone is nice enough to hold the door for you. And in this world it's a 50/50 shot. The elevators we all know are in all department stores in the mall, but there are no signs and no directory, again for handicapp or people with carriages. We circled the bottom level twice before asking someone who worked there. They actually didn't know themselves and had to ask on of their co workers. When we finally found it , in a back corner with no sign , you could barely fit through with all the storage boxes they keep back there. So just because someone has doors and elevators doesn't make them handicap friendly. They store was very confusing with no directory. It also took me forever to find the kids section located on the top floor and again no signs by elevator to even tell you what floor your getting off on. Prices are also a bit high too.
