I went to Kay looking for engagement rings with my boyfriend. I had Neil Lane in my mind of what I wanted to look at. I don’t usually wear jewelry and I don’t really have a style so I went in there wide eyed and open to try on rings and any helpful hints and guidance. The woman that helped us seemed short and impatient. I asked to look at one ring, tried it on, asked to try on another ring and requested another ring to try on. My request to try on the 3rd ring was met with you don’t seem to know what you want (umm no which is why I am trying rings on) and that I just needed to get a solitaire ring and pick a setting later when I knew what I wanted. I was there to try on rings to see what I liked. And maybe that was solid advice IF she didn’t sound annoyed that I was asking to try on a 3rd ring. So instead of trying on just the 3rd ring, I told my boyfriend I was done and we instead went to a local standalone jewelry store.I was met with a much nicer representative who seemed perfectly fine with me trying on different rings and I tried on a LOT. I was there for over an hour very indecisive but got to narrow down to 3 rings with the help of the representative. I came back one week later to try on more rings and finally settled with a ring (Verriago) and a diamond. I really liked Kay and that is what I originally planned on going for a ring....I literally only had Kay in mind but the woman really put a sour taste in my mouth. I will never go to Kay because of her.

I came in just looking and left with a Christmas gift. The sales rep, Claribel immediately asked me what I needed help with as soon as we walked into the store. She was very polite and attentive. Soon after we were also helped by Gerri who was super amazing and very knowledgeable. She didn't make me feel like I was JUST another customer, which I love! I fell in love with one of the rings and my bf got it for me as my Christmas present. We plan on getting married before the ended of 2020 and Gerri went far and beyond to explain everything about wedding rings and the different types. There was one wedding ring she showed me that i also fell in love with. Can't wait to go back and do future purchases with the staff at KAY.

I love leaving positive reviews when I've been given excellent service. Chris Booth was such a pleasure to work with. He took his time with me, gave me an excellent deal and treated me with the courtesy you would give a lifelong customer. I'll definitely be coming back for Xmas!

I was looking for wedding bands and I had inquiry on the width to get an idea of what I want. The representative didnt seem to be interested in helping me. She gave me the cheapest looking band to try on and quickly took it away. She didn't bother to ask if I want to look at anything else. Based on her dismissive attitude, I decided not to purchase anything there.

I was at the mall and walked by this Kay Jewelers store. I had been wearing a gold ring gifted to me by my father many years ago. This ring is really special to me because he has since passed away and it serves as a memory of his love for me and me for him. However, I recently caught my finger in the door wearing the ring and it was warped and now very tight on my finger. I inquired if they could 'bang out' my ring and return it to normal. Mike and Chris were very kind and took the ring and reshaped it and even cleaned it. It is now fitting great and has its original shine. Thank you for your excellent customer service! They didn't try to sell me on items in their store and this was a ring that hadn't been purchased there. Really great service...thank you!

WOODBRIDGE NJ STORE: Very disappointed in the customer service practices at this store. I went to the store with the intent of purchasing an item listed in the catalog and on tv commercials. The salesman was extremely helpful, and I'm not reviewing him, as much as I am the management style at this particular store. Once I saw the bracelet in person, I wasn't overly thrilled with the quality. But, my mobility is limited at the moment, so I decided to buy two of the bracelets. Much to my chagrin, they only had one bracelet left in stock. Ughhh. Now, I realize they probably sold a lot of them, and I was at the store two days before Mother's Day. So I looked around until I found a similar bracelet for 8 times the amount of the item I originally wanted. I thought to myself I'll ask for a discount. It never hurts to ask. As you can imagine, the answer was no. Ok, I bought the similar bracelet anyway, and another. I also special ordered an inexpensive silver chain for myself. I wanted to pay for it, but was told that I couldn't because he needed to confirm delivery date. I just got off the phone with the store. I need to come in and make a 10% deposit on the necklace before they order it. No, I'm not coming in to put down $6 on an order. I asked to speak with the manager. While waiting I was getting more and more annoyed. I've spent thousands of dollars over the years and this and other Kay stores. Another employee picks up and starts explaining something about policy, and I was so annoyed that I wouldn't let her finish. I said to forget it and cancel the order and I didn't like their practice. I'll take my business to other Kay stores. She explained that she was going to call the distributor and ask them to waive the deposit. Oh really? I have a better idea. Don't bother a loyal customer with nonsense. I would have paid the deposit at the store had I been asked. I am not hauling my cookies in with a cane just to pay a deposit. It was not a big ticket item. I can certainly agree if the item was $5,000 dollars or even $100. But, it was a $28 silver chain. Use your business acumen and don't annoy or lose a customer over nonsense.

They need to work on their customers service. I just wanted to get my rings cleaned and had to wait an hour just for that and one of the older ladies responded a little bit aggressive when I asked if I could get my rings cleaned I had been there long enough so I had to ask :( I really needed my rings cleaned so I waited if not I would of just left but that just shows how their customer service sucks.

The staff here was absolutely amazing and helping me pick out my fiancé’s engagement Ring. They were attentive and knowledgeable about my needs and what would work best for her. The experience was so good, I made sure when it was time to pick out our wedding bands, this was exactly where we went!

Mike was absolutely amazing! We went in honestly just to look and see what was there and what we might like. Mike was beyond friendly and so helpful! He never rushed us and let me see every ring I wanted. We even went with one that he suggested after watching us pick out several different styles. I couldn’t be happier with my new Engagement Ring! To top it off Mike made sure we complete understood the warranty and care of my new jewelry before we left the store so that I could properly care for my ring and have it last a lifetime! Thank u so much for making this experience Beautiful!! Mike David will be invited to my wedding! â¤ï¸â¤ï¸ Seriously y’all go see him! U won’t regret it! I promise! (P.S. I’m from Va and have been looking for months ... nobody was anywhere near as helpful as mike and we didnt buy a really expensive ring.)

My experience here was outstanding. I came to pick out rings with my fiance and the store manager Chris and his associate Jerri were very helpful and assisted us in a welcoming and attentive manner. They were extremely knowledgeable about the different jewelery and were able to help us in pick out a piece that we can treasure. Wonderful experience will def go back.

One word for this location is GARBAGE! Dropped my ring off for loose diamonds and I was strung along for a week and a half. I called the store when they said it would be ready. And it was not. Left several messages for Chris to call me back, no call back. Then called two days later and wanted to speak with the store manager (which was Chris.) He has zero knowledge about customer service, told me he's been returning my calls (LIAR) and very rude! Stay far away from this location! I will be reaching out to corporate.
