Gary, sit down and calm whatever victim complex is eating you alive.
You walked through a store holding an unpurchased item and didn’t say a damn thing. That’s not some innocent mistake — that’s textbook suspicious behavior. The cashier wasn’t “accusing” you — they were doing their job, which apparently offended your fragile sense of self-worth.
Let’s be clear: nobody has time to play psychic just because you failed to communicate. The owner giving you a free pin doesn’t give you a VIP pass to roam around like you're above common sense. You could’ve opened your mouth and said, “Hey, the owner gave me this.” Instead, you chose the path of maximum drama and then ran online to cry about it. Pathetic.
You weren’t “insulted.” You were checked, and your ego couldn’t handle it. If being questioned over suspicious behavior makes you unravel like wet tissue paper, maybe shopping in public isn’t for you.
And your grand declaration about “never going back”? Trust me — no one cares. The cashier won’t lose sleep, the store won’t lose money, and the only thing that was lost was our time reading your self-pitying tantrum.
Don’t come back. You’re not owed an apology — you’re owed a lesson in humility.

i love this store, its one of my favorites ever. they provide a variety of styles, always have everything in stock, good sales. theres always very kind workers who walk around and ask if you need any help finding something. I also really like how you get cash back for rewards.

The place itself is good to shop but however there machine for the credit card does work because it keeps on declining the credit card every time and we had to use our bank card and for the employee to say that our credit card has expired which is a total lie where everywhere else that we shopped at in the mall our credit card works perfectly fine it’s just there machine that needs maintenance so it can be fixed and worked properly. And btw earlier today these two women that I try to say hi to them and one of them back away and looked at me like I was a weirdo when all I tried to do is introduce myself to them since that’s basically what I do nowadays to try to get to know them or anyone to help me out with socializing in general and that alone really upsets me really bad because what I did was basically innocent and I’m just trying to be friendly and respectful but at the same time I’m just getting really sick of tired of it of getting treated like I’m some kind of villain or something and I’m just done with everything and everybody anymore tbh. It’s like one wrong move and it’s over for me it’s just stupid in my opinion. And btw it was basically the woman with the black beanie on her head with orange red hair and she was white and wearing all black shirt or hoodie and black pants a beautiful woman but idk her name but I’m not trying to get her in trouble or anything it’s just I felt disrespected when she did that type of stuff and she is very beautiful and all but once she did that along with the credit card machine wasn’t working properly I’m pretty much not sure if I should even think of coming back there ever again to shop after all that. Since it’s just gonna be pointless and a waste of time and money whenever something like that happens to me or anyone else.

Everyone is super nice and helpful! I been going to this hot topic for years and always got good service. The person who helped me is Ariel and she is the one with red hair! The manager on duty night shift also was helpful and kind :-)
