  • "Early Saturday evening it wasn't crowded so we had minimal wait in line and many tables available. I've been to France and have eaten at 5 star French restaurants. Wonderful quite authentic French atmosphere and cuisine. Spotless, friendly, attentive staff. Food was authentic French selections and very delicious. Only slight drawback, it's served cafeteria style, you take tray and go down line to select items, carry it to table you select. Some patio seating. Prices very reasonable. Handicapped and regular parking very accessible. Will go back often."
  • "My mom ate at La Madeleine from Maryland long time ago and I learned the other day that there's one in Louisiana and we decided to eat there for Lunch. When we got there, the parking space outside didn't feel right for us because we have to be aware of our surroundings and whatnot and it was very tight and not enough space. That aside, the inside of the restaurant was really nice and bright. It captures the essence of France very well and I like it. The desserts look really yummy and sinfully sweet. The dessert I ate was the "Fruit Tart" or something like that and I really enjoyed it very much because when it comes to eating foods like this, I prefer to take very little bites and savor the moment. My lunch tasted really good, as well. I think it was "Roast Beef Sandwich" with Caesar Salad on the side. Sorry, I'm putting air quotes because I don't have a very good memory of what happened a few days ago. Other than that, my order tasted so good especially with sauce that it came with. It was yummy in my tummy and I was satisfied with it. The employees working at the restaurant in my point of view were doing a good job even though they just opened recently. I'm really glad I gave La Madeleine a try and I would like to come back again in the future. It would be nice to treat my sister and my brother in-law and they would go nuts with the nice, delectable selection of desserts but I wouldn't get my hopes up just yet. All in all, I hope and pray that this restaurant will do fine and get better in the future as time goes on. I'll visit again, later on."
  • "Great customer service and delicious food brought to me in a timely manner. The pastries were great. I recommend the coconut cream cake, it's goes well with the French roast coffee. Since it is the opening weekend I completely understand the line out of the door and the confusion by the new employees being trained. Overall my experience was great and I believe the people here complaining about the ordering process should give it another shot when it's not the opening weekend."
  • "I was able to visit for the soft opening with four other people. We each got different menus. Each piece of food was delightful and well cooked. One of our drinks came out cold, but they fixed it right away. Service was great and I'm glad they did a soft opening, they needed the practice with the types of registers for placing orders they were using. Everything was delicious, we had a great time and will be back!"
  • "The look, food and beverages as just like other La Madeleine branches if that's a reference. The ambiance is comfortable and elegant. The coffee was excellent! The bread, pastries and some other breakfast items you order from the food bar and are really good (did I mention the coffee was excellent?). They have a bread basket with samples of their jams and we loved them. Regarding the breakfast food from the menu, I'd say it was ok, but nothing worth going crazy about. we ordered the Benedict eggs and the Croque Monsieur sandwich. We liked them but we've had way better at the Egg and I and at Le Peep, but we still enjoyed them."
