They have good customer service here but often times they are out working on the vehicles so you have to call to get someone at the office. But otherwise they do good work.

Absolutely awful. This location refuses to take responsibility for their actions and lack of empathy for people. I booked a reservation a full day in advance and had someone call me this morning to tell me they don't have any vehicles available but he will call me back when they do receive some. I called just a few minutes ago, and vehicles are suddenly available from El Paso. I want to get a vehicle but now the guy working is telling me I have to book 24hours in advance because of policy and that my previous reservation was cancelled. I never cancelled my reservation! These people cancelled my reservation that I made a day prior that follows their store policy but failed to notify me! Now a store rep is telling me I have to wait another 24 hours to get a vehicle because of the policy. I'm stranded without a reservation because of other people cancelling it without my permission or even getting notified about the cancellation. The lack of communication amongst the employees and manager is absolutely disgraceful if this is how they handle business. Do not give this location your business because Hertz as a company is corrupt and their way of running business is unprofessional.

I've rented from them for years and the cars always smelled fresh, and like new always.I'm grateful for their hard work and that we have a local office. Keep up the great service!!

Had a nice enough experience. Everything was going great until I returned the car. I was charged a late return fee because I returned it 40 minutes late. That's understandable- except on THEIR OWN website it says there's a no charge for 0 to 59 minutes past return. I called twice, they took my information and never returned my call. After that I gave up. I'll go with someone else next time unless they make it right.

What's grew point in making a reservation. One person tells you to come in the morning to pick up a car and once you get there they tell you there are no cars!! Disgusted with this business!

Worst experience ever. We reserved two vans on Expedia and and when we arrived to pick up vans only one van was ready for pick up they could not get us another van. I did contact Expedia to see if they messed up, but both vans showed up saved for me. I lucked out and got two vans from Enterprise. Customer service at Hertz was terrible and would not help find what I need.

Very nice and friendly staff. The choice of rentals is pretty good. Comparable rates and the cars I've rented have been clean and in very good condition. The last time I went, there was no one in the office and the sign on the door said they were washing cars. Luckily, they have a box to drop your key off. I turned in my last car this way and had no issues.

So I got told I can’t even make a reservation for a one way trip. I’m sure the guy just didn’t wanna deal with it and have to do his job. They need a sign to limit the amount of people inside the room. I walked up and there was three people in the tiny room. We are still in a pandemic so I was waiting outside the room and a couple thought it would be fine to just cut in front of me and the worker just let them do it. Terrible customer service.

I should’ve looked at their reviews ahead of time. I had a vehicle booked two weeks ahead of my pick up date. They called me this morning (the morning of a very important business and family trip) to tell me that they have no vehicles for me. Now I have to let my job and family know that I won’t be able to make it. Very unprofessional and will make sure not to use them again. I will also make sure that others are aware of how they poorly they manage this location.

I regret that I did not read reviews before I rented from Hertz. I have rented many times from other rental companies before and this one is the far worst one. My flight landed early, but the old lady at IAH Hertz counter was very slow. A young lady in front of me could not wait any longer and left, but I had to stay before I had prepaid. She tried really hard to sell me their insurances, I repeatedly said "No" and told me that I had prepaid everything, I just needed a car for a few hours on a Saturday afternoon.. But she still charged me one insurance and did not tell me about it. I was running late for my appointment and did not notice it till I got back. I called Hertz customer service. Their representative said we already have your money and will not give it back to you. It seems that Hertz wants to recoup their loss from storm Uri by cheating to their customers. This is my first experience with Hertz and will be the last one.
