Fresh is not open in this location, it has teamed up with the ABQ BBQ establishment north one block. Spoke with Jon the owner and they are doing BBQ except for Fresh brunch. A bit of a disconnect, we weren't expecting BBQ but made the adjustment.

I had been wanting to try this quaint little place. I found myself hungry and nearby. Umbrellas were over outside tables with a single gentleman playing the guitar. I sat right inside @ the first table. The staff was happy and friendly. I had a wonderful strawberry mimosa (small but enjoyable). I finally decided on the Monte Christo and I sure wasn't dissapointed. The chef came out, asked how I was enjoying my meal and explained how the topping was made. It was delicious. The ham was not processed and had great flavor. Then there was dessert. Oh my! I had the banana foster not to be confused with the French toast (which I will also need to try) wow! The ice cream was creamy and delightful and the rest was so amazing that I ate it slowly so that I could enjoy every last bite. I'm going back to try the lunch menu, I'm sure it's equally as wonderful as brunch was. It's worth a visit and trust me you'll want to come back.
Went back for supper months later with a friend who had never been. We enjoyed our meals and the company. The staff never left our glass empty and despite the fact that we were the last to leave, they were gracious and polite and checked on us and were never annoying. Banana foster dessert was pretty awesome. The juice of that dessert can be drizzled on so many other yummy things. My favorite!

This is a quaint place with great food! As soon as we walked in the door we could smell the tri tip beef stroganoff in the air soooo yummy! So we ordered it, my husband and I actually split the dish so we can order the cream of asparagus soup. Best decision. The soup was yummy and a teaser for the stroganoff. It had meaty mushrooms, the beef was tender and each pasta bite had a blast of flavor through out. We had our kids with us and they love chef Taylor's macaroni and cheese. My mom ordered the fish tacos that were packed with flavor. TheWe'll be back!

Second visit to the Bistro and we keep asking ourselves why we haven't been coming here. The Country Crepe and the Vegetable Frenchilada were amazing!! And they make a great Bloody Mary!
