Excellent food! I would highly recommend this restaurant as we ate brunch here twice on our recent trip to Santa Fe.

I need a strong cup of coffee or preferably a cappuccino to start my day and while our hotel offers a free and very respectable breakfast, without my caffeine, I'm not a happy guy. Fortunately we discovered Chez Mamou, which is only steps from our hotel and in addition to having what looks like a lovely French restaurant, they also serve breakfast in their restaurant. However,if you are short on time or like me, just want a good jolt of excellent coffee, this is a great place to start your day. They also bake some exceptional croissants and cookies. So far I've sampled their chocolate and almond croissants along with a few of their cookies! And if you prefer almond milk in your Lattes or cappuccinos, they'll take good care of you! I'd still like to plan to relax and dine here for breakfast or lunch and hopefully I'll have that opportunity but in the meantime if you are looking for a great cafe, check out Cafe Mamou!

SERVICE! Where is the service. The food was good enough first time to give them a second chance. The second time the place was empty and service was still atrocious. I understand the European approach but you've got to stop by to fill water/coffee at least once.

Great atmosphere with a very nice patio. The pastries were incredible! Especially the raspberry tart!

This was a disappointing dining experience. They overcooked the steak one of us ordered, brought the wrong pasta dish to another one of us, the other two dishes were quite good. Our waiter was absent for most of our meal and the assistant didn't speak English well enough to communicate the issues with the dishes. The outside patio was lovely though.
