I made an appointment two weeks ago for Covid vaccination and had to fill in my insurance information at that time. I just showed up for my appointment to be told that they do not take my insurance (it is a major national insurance provider) and that I needed to cough up $200. The dopey employee at the pharmacy gave a halfway, half-a$$ed apology, but was not surprised. I guess their employees are used to CVS' incompetence.

Store hours are posted online and at the front door till 10 PM Monday through Friday. I went by at 8 PM on a Wednesday. Doors were locked nobody in sight, and nobody answering the phones. If you’re not gonna be open, don’t post the hours in which you should be open.

Thanks for being kind and helpful. Also I love that this store has almost everything.

I've been with CVS since 2013...long time. The past few months, the romance has faded. This morning, we broke up. My experiences with the pharmacy have been problematic, the store itself is understaffed and carelessly run and I am saying adios!

Just needed help in a bad way, trying to decide whether I should risk missing my morning flight to Santa Fe tomorrow in order to get a prescription when my neighborhood CVS store opens. “If only there were a Santa Fe CVS!”There is, with a very, very helpful staff member. I no sooner confirmed the name spelling and birthdate than she was figuring out the best way to handle an out of state insurance issue. This is 10 minutes before closing, conscientious, gracious. I wish I caught her name.Meanwhile, another family member had the same idea and called another store, where the staff could see that my process was going forward. We’re all set!So happy to find my way there soon!

It's so sad for me to read all these negative reviews, for my experience, for the most part, has been with people sweet, considerate and most definitely professional. I feel so sorry that they may be lumped in with some that may have been otherwise. Imagine working in such a situation. They may be swimming upstream against a tide of perception to which they haven't contributed an iota. Not an enviable position. I wish I could be a good witch from the fairy stories and sprinkle some fairy dust over them to make them happy. They deserve it.

Don't go here at night, they will be closed. Despite having posted business hours outside the store and online that say they are open until 10 pm, I've been here after 8 pm and they were locked up, they randomly lock up early. If you need something late at night Walgreens is more reliable - when I tried, Walgreens have been open at night, following their own posted business hours.

Highly Appreciative of the customer service lady who lead me to the Vicks Vaporub balm. Late hours, too. Along with eucalyptus essential oil.

I was accosted by beggars outside as I ran in with a bloody bandage straight from the ER to get my scrip filled. They were out of the pain meds, and offered NO help—not even where to find the Tylenol. (I am from out-of-town and never had been into this store.) The Pharmacist was no help, he suggested I call the ER to get the scrip re-routed. Yeah, right... why didn't they tell the ER they were out of it when it was called in? I am in SF a lot now, but I'll never return to this CVS.

Old man working pharmacy claimed to schedule vaccine appointment. Came back to get vaccine to find no appointment was ever scheduled. Told me to come back in a month.

If you want an insolent, rude pharmacist with no listening skills to interrupt you, call you names, and hang up on you, this is your place. Whoever the young "lady" was who was so disrepectful shouldn't be in a service industry. CVS should fire her. But based on the other reviews, it's a systemic issue.

All CVS pharmacy's in Santa Fee are less, less than par. Do business parties really have to be completely inept! To get information about whether a prescription is ready I guess name doesn't get it ! I refuse to play their inadequacies over a call and would never enter their doors if there was an alternative in this nothing town.

We had appointments for flu shots at 5:30. We arrived at 5:15 and was told to wait in the line where the shots were being given. After talking to some folks they had appts at 4:15 and were still waiting. I went back to the check in counter and again was told to wait in the line. Not once did the young woman behind the counter register us or ask our name. In the mean time folks were lining up and were being registered. Finally after waiting 45 minutes I noticed folks that walked in after us were getting called and getting their shots. After once again mentioning this, we were finally registered and said there would be about a 45 minute to an hour wait. We finally notified the young man behind the counter that we had to cancel our appt due to a prior engagement at 7:00pm that evening. Lo and behold, when we got home, we had an email from CVS saying we received our flu vaccine!! I hate to think what will happen when we try to make another appt and are told we already received it!

I made an appt for an updated covid booster. The appt was confirmed. I arrived 10 minutes before the appt. and checked in at the pharmacy. They took my covid card, showed it to the pharmacist & told me to sit down until I was called. After many people were called before me, I investigated. They told me to sit down & wait my turn. I did. After waiting an hour, I inquired again. I was told the system "adjudicated" me. What? And that I never registered correctly. I did the same thing everyone else did. After I showed them text confirmations, they finally took me. My advice-DO NOT get your booster at this location. Very, very unorganized, rude & disjointed. I hope & pray I received an updated covid booster.

To provide context w/some of the other Yelp Reviews, I'd like to share my experience with others. First, since the pandemic, there have been accrue labor shortages. This translates into those who work in nearly every service capacity, they are overworked, which means they are underpaid. Second, everyone of us has bad days, weeks even months. Have some grace, patience & some modicum for respect for what some may be going through today, or dealing with yesterday. Trying walking in another's shoes, before one passes judgement upon another. We're all doing the best we can on any day. Below is a key hair I purchased for a friend Yvette last month. Carpe' Diem, Pay it Forward & be your bothers keeper! Peace ~ SLV
