I bought a ticket to use the bathroom, and I stumbled upon the countless exhibits. It was a capsule in time that highlighted the rich history of the land of enchantment. I enjoyed seeing the Spanish influence and indigenous people of the region. This museum is a cultural enrichment.
Well for me it was very fascinating. I really had never known that much about native American Hispanic heritage especially from their perspective and the museum gives a good idea of that. I was in there nearly 2 hours and then the museum was closing I could have easily spent another four I think anyway.

The New Mexico History Museum campus in Santa Fe includes the Historic Palace of the Governors (1610), Fray Angélico Chávez History Library (1907), the Palace of the Governors Photo Archives, the Palace Press and the Pete V. Domenici Building (2009).
