New Mexico History Museum is a division of New Mexico Department of Cultural Affairs. The museum is a statewide educational resource, local landmark, and destination for anyone who wants to understand the diverse experiences of the people of New Mexico, the dynamics that have shaped our state, and the relationships that connect our region with the rest of the world. Visitors can experience exhibits highlighting the culture and history of New Mexico as well as partake in our educational program of activities and events for all ages. New Mexico History Museum includes the Palace of the Governors, Fray Angélico Chávez History Library, the Palace of the Governors Photo Archives, the Palace Press, and the Pete V. Domenici Building.
