Update: as one part of Northtown is replying to this review, another part is texting me nonsense, continuing to refuse to tell me why they are demanding I come back to have recall word done again. And saying they are just trying to help. lol.
BEWARE THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT: Like most of the other 1 star reviews here, my issue is with the Service Department. While I never go to the dealership for service I was forced to use them for a recall issue. Sadly, although they claimed to do the work they apparently did not file the paperwork with the state (or whoever mandates proof that recall work is performed) so there is no proof of it. Fortunately the excellent mechanic I have a 25+ year relationship with used their trust in me and their own good reputation to convince the state I had in fact had the work done and I was able to get my inspection for last year. Fast forward to this year, and Northtown is telling me I need to bring car back to have recall work done again because...well, I don't know why they since they won't give me a reason, just keep saying bring it in again. Obvi that is not going to happen, fool me once shame on you, fool me twice? Nah. Hopefully my copy of their paperwork claiming they did they recall work will be enough for the state this year. If not guess I'll try Ray Laks.

I have purchased two HR-V's through Scott Socha. One for my daughter in 2019 and then one for me in 2023. Had a great experience both times. I'll go through him again if I need another vehicle in the near future..

Service was prompt - one hour. Issues 1) old oil change reminder sticker not removed 2) maintenance code says “B” on dash which means oil change needed while oil life -100%. Wasn’t reset?3) tire press cold after rotation is 35 ,34, 34, 33- not uniform

car sat here for 2 weeks, you told me yall did an oil change, breaks, and diagnostics and drove my car EXTENSIVELY, but after 2 days of having the car back guess what, found to be car has not been reset, still reading old oil from a month ago, with less than a quart of oil added, you are the sorriest excuse for a dealership i’ve seen

Northtown Honda:
This was my initial used car experience with the Northtown Auto Group for an outright purchase with no trade.
I would not recommend this location for used vehicles listed on their website.
The dealership did not have either of the cars they scheduled me to view. This experience evolved into what appeared to be an up-sell attempt, with the intent to sell me vehicles that were not within my desired price range.
After having been asked to give Northtown another chance:
While out of town I received a call from Northtown Honda the individual said she would work with me on the purchase of a vehicle. I was driving and agreed to be contacted on Friday. No contact happened. I am not sure why.
Prior to this last contact by Northtown Honda I attempted a purchase of a 2020 WRX with Northtown Subaru which is part of the same Northtown Group.
I cannot recommend either location.
Northtown Subaru:
I arrived with a 2012 Mustang Premium V6 with under 46,000 miles, a car that needs absolutely nothing. The individual who appraised my car, offered a market value of only $6,116 for a car that can almost pass for new. This car markets for at least $14,500 retail at this point. CARVANA would offer $10,500 and list it for over $17,000. Kelly Blue Book rates the car at a fair trade-in value of $10,468. At every turn, my experience with Northtown has been insulting and distasteful. You might think twice before doing business with Northtown.
Update 2:
Speaking with the appraiser at Northtown Subaru today, he attempted to present a new narrative of our dealership interaction. I was left with a feeling that the Kelly Blue Book valuation he previously prepared has an appearance of an attempted fraud. The significant discrepancy between the offer and the fair trade-in and market value, supported by printed materials direct from Kelly Bluebook and CARVANA in contrast to the Kelly Blue Book presented by sales staff prepared by the appraiser, strongly suggests an attempt to undervalue my car...

This is our 2nd time purchasing a used car from Northtown Honda and both experiences were fantastic! Everyone was friendly and patient and great to work with and made sure we left happy (and we did!). Thank you to Peter! Highly recommended going here if you need a car.

Called for service and was offered same day appointment. I was greeted quickly and service to be performed was reviewed with me. Service was performed without any problems or delays and I was checked out quickly. Ryan L. was very professional, courteous and efficient. I am very pleased with all my interactions with the service department and would highly recommend them.
