I have had multiple pairs of Der - Dau's Dream Boot 2 . I absolutely love their comfortable foot bed . The first time you wear them you can go and walk an XC course pain free. The inside panel, with it's stickability factor, has saved me from being launched off my horse numerous times. I had the opportunity to meet the Der Dau crew at WEG in Tryon - you won't meet a harder working and more helpful crew anywhere. Thanks for the best boots Der Dau!

While Joe is quite personable Taking your order, everything is downhill after that with No customer service or communication. The first shipment of boots I received absolutely weren't mine. The Second pair -- big issues that DerDau has Not addressed. The Upgraded shaft tops are outright Wrong, PLUS, the shafts do not fit. At all. The zippers only go up half way. I firmly believe they are not MY measurements. I returned the boots, their only response is No Refunds. They are No Longer a top company, you Do Not get what you pay for.

This boot company is fantastic, they took a botched order by another boot company and completely fixed it. They were responsive and very timely with a completely custom order. And the results were above and beyond expectations, perfect fit and very comfortable! I will definitely order from them again for any of my boot needs.

I’ve had Vogel’s, Dehner’s, Mountain Horse and all the rest over 30 years now, and Der Dau is simply the best fit, quality, craftsmanship, customer service and everything you’d ever want in field, hunt, show or paddock boots, and yes I’ve had all of them.

This place is a complete ripoff. I left my boots with them in Sept, 2020. I had intended to have them resoled. The salesman convinced me that the boots still had a lot of life left and sold me on their polishing service. So $300 later I finally received the boots in late November, and discovered that they were torn along the zipper seam. ( they should have picked this up while convincing me that my boots were worth investing in the polishing service). I sent them back and

If you ever considered buying DerDau boots, DON'T DO IT! I asked them to resole my boots in September, 2020, when I saw their both at the championships in Saugerties, NY. Even though I had just wanted new soles the guy sold me on their complete polish because, he said, the boots still had a lot of life left in them. I agreed, and the bill was well over $300. I got the boots back and they were torn at the zipper seam. Had I known that this would happen I would not have invested that much money into those boots. I sent them back in late November to be inspected, and I agreed to pay another $200 to fix the tear. When I hadn't received them back by the end of December I called to find out that the entire company was on vacation until after the New Year. I finally reached someone early in January and was told that the boots had been shipped. It is now January 13th and I still don't have them. I have spent over $500 on a pair of old boots and have yet to receive them. At this point I am researching my options re: small claims and letting everyone know that this company is a major ripoff.

Wow just wow, want to thank Joseph Der and DER•DAU team for this amazing surprise... I have own my own MC boots before but nothing like these custom fitted boots... they feel like a sock, I never thought that a new pair of boots could feel so comfortable, there’s no words to describe what my feet are feeling... just amazing thank you so much...

SEVERAL YEARS of trying... I have been back and back and back.. I even drove to their place in Brooklyn. I simply do not understand how they can keep making them so bad and wrong... they would not refund the money, and they would not give me bags or something that does not have to be sized instead.
