i called requesting information on hooking up a Dorn Bracht bathroom faucet to my water outlets. Was directed to email a member of the staf with the particulars. Did so several days ago and have not received any reply.

This place has taken great care of me twice when I needed particular fixtures for the apartment my mother moved into in New York City. They have about a million of these all around the walls of their store, and apparently another million somewhere in the basement!My purchase was quite small (a few towel bars and hooks), but they were very attentive and took good care of what I was looking for and found exactly what I wanted and needed each time.The place is not glitzy, but their stock is very nice, they know what they're doing, and how to ask the right questions to find what you're looking for.It's an old-fashioned, high-quality kind of store, and they will take good care of you and find what you need.

After failed attempts of locating what I figured was a simple plumbing part, calling lots of well known places in Brooklyn and Manhattan (including the well stocked NY Replacement parts - who said they wouldn't have anything close to what I needed,) I called Stellar Hardware and Bath looking for that special washer for a commercial bath faucet - I needed it to complete a commercial job I had in midtown.After describing it on the phone, Edison mentioned that he didn't think he had it, but said if I send him a photo of it to his email and my number, he will look into it.Well 15 minutes later, Edison called me and said he's pretty sure he has the parts I need and to "just pull up in front of the place" and call him when I'm there, which I did 10 minutes later.Not only did Edison of Stellar hardware and bath come out to my car, but he gave me a handful of parts that would work.After offering to pay, he refused any money and said "no charge".Wow, just what I needed after just about giving up on this part so I could finish a job for my customer.As far as Bath parts, I know they mostly sell bath fixtures, in addition to basic hardware, but they managed to go out of their league to satisfy a customer.The only cons of this place is that it's hard to find a place to park in that part of Manhattan, but a remedy was figured out for that too.Thanks Edison, you made my day!

I did three separate online orders from them. Their customer service was great - answered my questions on what to expect around delivery promptly and transparently when there were small delays. Items arrived in good condition. Would order from Stellar Hardware again!

The actual office is overpriced and gaudy. I went in for kitchen fixtures and then the owner starts flirting with me in the most inappropriate manner, made me feel very uncomfortable. The other employees seemed decent but after that interaction I felt like it was a sleazy environment. Stay away you’re better off at lowes.

It took 25 days to get my order. While I do understand that right now, shipping and services are disrupted due to current health situations, their customer service during the wait was very poor. I emailed at least 10 times with no response and called at least 8 times with no answer. It wasn’t until I sent a message to cancel my order did someone finally call to report that my items would be shipped in 2 days. Four days later it shipped. While the product is great, I will not do business with this company again.

Just facts. Placed simple order 6/1 promised it in 1 week. Followed up as it never showed for the next 14 days. Parts arrived 3 weeks late. Avoid at all costs.

I came in here to shop for new doorknobs and what separated this place from the other hardware stores in the area was their presentation. Everything was neatly polished and displayed. The staff was knowledgeable in getting me a doorknob that best complimented my home's doors. I am a very satisfied customer and would make this my go to place to get household fixtures.
