I’m a newer car owner, and this was my first time getting a detail — Williamsburg Hand Wash & Auto Detailing has officially set the bar sky-high!
I called for a same-day appointment, and Kevin was incredibly kind and thorough in explaining all my options. When I arrived, I decided to upgrade from a basic wash to a full detail, and the team went above and beyond, even staying late so I wouldn’t have to come back another day. That alone earned my loyalty for life!
When I picked up my car, I was STUNNED — it looked better than when I bought it. Kevin patiently answered all my (many!) questions (most of which were unrelated to the detail service, and more about general car maintenance), walked me through everything they did, and shared great advice on how to keep it looking new.
As a woman new to car ownership, I really appreciated how honest, helpful, and welcoming everyone was. No upselling, no jargon. Just genuine service and amazing results. I’ll definitely be back and will be recommending them to everyone I know.

Kevin and the guys at NYC Car Spa have delivered really high quality results for my new M340i and prior G70! They did a great job installing front and rear XPEL PPF, and XPEL ceramic tints for the front and rear windows. Very easy process and high quality for 2/2 of my vehicles now!

The professionalism and attention to detail is something hard to find at Carwashes these days.
They also coated the car two years ago with a ceramic coating and it’s STILL LIKE NEW!

Was interested in getting my new car tinted and wrapped with PPF (paint protection film). After doing some research, I found the brand of Xpel to be one of the best brands to choose from. They provide both tint film and paint protection film. I then went to their website and looked for authorized dealers who use their products, that’s when I found out Williamsburg Hand Wash and Auto Detailing was a authorized dealer and I already had history with them so it was a no brainer to bring my car there. Kevin went over everything with me, he explained and showed me examples, then gave me his honest feedback and advice on what I should get. I opted to get the full front (front bumper, front fenders, mirrors, full hood), doors, rear bumper, headlights wrapped in PPF. I also got my windows tinted with Xpel XR plus film. 20% on the front windshield and 5% all other windows, best combination for privacy and safety of seeing while driving night or day time. Kevin went over everything when I went to pick up my car after completion. I would definitely recommend Kevin and the shop. Great service, Great communication, Great work

I first visited Kevin’s shop, Williamsburg Hand Wash & Auto Detailing, about 10 years ago, and their work quality has always been excellent. Recently, I bought a new car with dealer-installed PPF on the front high-impact areas, but later realized I needed full-body PPF for better protection.
Kevin took the time to explain everything clearly—how the film would be applied and how to maintain the shine. He’s very professional and knowledgeable, which gave me full confidence.
I brought my car in the following week, and they completed the full PPF installation in about two weeks. The result was perfect—Kevin even applied PPF on areas I didn’t expect, showing real attention to detail.
My car looks amazing, and I couldn’t be happier. Highly recommend Kevin and his team—definitely a 5/5 experience!

I’ve cleaned, detailed, and maintained two cars with Kevin and his family-run business.
Their team does meticulously work on maintenance washes, do best-in-class tinting and PPF, and have been experienced in touch up work and various detailing projects.
I enjoy visiting the garage once a month and getting great service.

These guys are awesome!! They are so professional, thorough, and kind. The service is really excellent. When I drop my car off they are thoughtful about giving me a package that will fit my* needs the best. Like I’m busy and can’t wash my car so often. But she’s vintage and I want to protect the paint! So they helped me make a custom package that works for me and my lifestyle.
BONUS! They were able to open my trunk that had been jammed for a long time. AND they recommended me a good traffic lawyer when I got a ticket right after leaving my car wash 🤣 so ya super grateful I found this place! And thank yall for ur hard work and for going above and beyond :)

I recently brought my Ford F-150 to Williamsburg Hand Wash and Auto Detailing in NYC for a full transformation, and I’m blown away by the results! They did a complete full-body wrap with XPEL Paint Protection Film (PPF), followed by a premium ceramic coating for that ultimate shine and protection. To top it off, they installed XPEL tints on the windows for privacy and heat rejection, plus XPEL Windshield Protection Film to guard against chips and cracks on those rough city roads.
The team was professional, detail-oriented, and explained every step—from the seamless PPF application that protects against scratches and rock chips, to the ceramic coating that makes washing a breeze with its hydrophobic properties. My truck looks brand new, and I feel confident it’ll stay that way for years. If you’re in Williamsburg or NYC and need top-tier auto detailing, PPF installation, ceramic coating, window tinting, or windshield protection, this is the spot. Highly recommend—5 stars all the way!
