The La Pet Store located at 753 Hayford Road in Champlain, NY is a horrible place that I would never recommend to anyone. Upon entering I was very disturbed by the amount of puppies she had and the way their cages were just stacked one on top of another. I would never purchase a puppy from her after seeing the way those poor babies are housed not to mention hearing the constant barking and crying coming from those poor babies.

Just called to confirm if they sell dog toys, because I wasn’t sure if they are just a boarding facility or also carry goods. There’s no description, so I didn’t want to assume and drive over there for no reason. Person that answered the phone was pretty rude, asked who was calling? And finally said yes she does sell dog toys. I thought it was a pretty simple question that turned into an unnecessarily unpleasant conversation.

She has way to many dogs it is a puppy mill.i got a puppy she called he need a shot when I went back with the pup she took him and took him away in a nother room and shut the door and said we had to talk she wanted more money . And wanted me to pay more for the pup I had for two days. Or take an older one .

These poor dogs are stuck in tiny pens with no food or water. The moms were extremely thin and unkept. I think the lady tries but she is 79 years old and very forgetful. Maybe she forgets to feed them. She needs to be shut down.

Elizabeth was very good to work with....my daughter got a YorkiePoo puppy yesterday and she loves it.....the dog was 8 weeks old and litter trained already....she puts love into them all and it shows.....what a sweet dog.....thanks Betty

Overcrowded, unkempt, perhaps unsanitary boarding for dogs. Numerous dogs loose and running around a small house. Use at your own risk!

The lady has well over 40 dogs in that small house, you cannot even walk inside the home because of all the cages, the noise is so loud when they all bark, some look Healthy some do not.... there is no way it's legal to have 40-60 dogs in one small house.
