First they send equipment with booklet instructions and no personal touch. For 6 weeks I struggled with the c-pap equipment. I finally found a place to have the equipment demonstrated. He told me I had the wrong tubing and mask. Now how would I have known that! Make a long story short I went over to Brevia and they were so helpful.

Respiration therapist is excellent. Should have been given option to meet with therapist before machine was sent. It was impossible to assemble without his guidance.

Sleep expert, Nancy, went over every aspect of the equipment and reviewed how to use it, as well as how to maintain it. All my questions were answered.

The customer service representatives was very helpful. However I feel in-house personal contact is better. Hands on for set up and questions leaves a patient better informed and prepared.

I received a phone call from Apria to report that I should expect a delivery. There was no review of my MD order. When the box arrived I had a nasal mask only. When the sleep study was done it was with a full mouth/nose mask as I am a side sleeper and mouth breather. I tried to use this mask and it did not work well as I lost pressure due to the mouth breathing. I had to call Apria after a week and request the correct mask be delivered. That is when the rep. reviewed my order and stated a mouth/nose mask was ordered. The new masks arrived 5 days later. I am trying to use them but have difficulty. I am unable to fall asleep with the mask on and take it off to get any sleep. I know this is not the fault of the Apria company.

Received an oxygen machine March 2020 during Covid from White Plains hospital. Apria called me one year later (September 2021)to pick up the machine. Hurricane Ida (September 2021) came through and damage my apartment. I had to get rid of the machine, why am I keeping a damaged machine. I provided proof to Michelle Carmona (legally I didn’t have to) that my apartment was completely flooded. I spoke to a manager and he apologized for any inconvenience. And now almost two years later, they are calling me about the machine again. Like why!?! I have emailed Michelle Carmona a week ago about this matter. She hasn’t responded back. But when I called to speak to her, she hangs up before I can utter a word. This place is ridiculous.
