I was a Manager in this store and in 2012 I suffered a severe injury due to faulty equipment that the company supplies to its workers. 11 years later they still refuse to pay me the balance awarded to me by the workers Comp. Board for medical treatment over $360,000. Today we file a federal lawsuit against BBB, there Insurance carrier and Amatros which is hold my medical funds. They are about to file bankruptcy I ask everyone reading this post not to purchase anything from there stores. They are a scam and don’t care about there employees and specially there customers. There providers are refusing to ship products to there stores for nonpayment. So please do lot give them any business. Thank you

So many items were gone. The same Bed Bath and Beyond. Slim pickings. Will try different location. Elmsford is very slim.

Is it possible that the nastiness of some store employees, like the ones at the Elmsford, NY, store are in some way contributing to how badly this company is doing?I had a few minutes to purchase a very-hard-to-find small toiletry item (long out-of-stock at BB&B, and the only one left at this location) yesterday at around lunch time. Unsurprisingly, only 2 cashiers at check-out and a fairly long line. It wasn’t helpful that one of the cashiers decided to have a social chit-chat with a customer after she rang him up, about…what…a TV show they both loved, a favorite recipe, a fun holiday tradition? Not the time for that! I ran to the ridiculously named Customer Service counter and asked if I could pay for my one small item. There was no line at that counter at all and they could have done it in 30 seconds flat. But, hey, why be helpful to a paying customer when you can be spiteful, mean-spirited and nasty? Right? The woman pointed to the line I had just left and said that that was where I paid. I went back to the by now even longer line, whereupon the woman at the Customer Service counter I had just left called a customer from the line and told her to come over to get checked out.I went back to the laughably named Customer Service employee and inquired why she was now doing what she had told me 10 seconds ago she couldn’t do. Apparently, I wasn’t at the front of the line, with my one little item. (Which she could have rung up in 30 seconds.)Please be aware, BB&B, that the ONLY reason many of us shop at your store is because of the coupons. If, in addition to not training your employees properly (don’t be ornery, unhelpful, nasty to customers!!) you guys are not offering the same coupon deals, there is NO REASON for us to continue shopping there. There are plenty of other options. As you know.

Disappointed! Every time I go there it seems like they are just selling what is left before closing. Either they are moving toward a slow closing or a slow transition to a lower quality store. They no longer support vacuum cleamers bought there; not even to buy replament bags. Sad to see the state of this store.

I had the worst experience at this BBB.On Saturday I purchased curtains that were in sale for $19.99. The cashier scans a 25% coupon and and extra $5 come off.I go back on Sunday and purchase the same curtain. It rings up a different price so the cashier calls a manager over and she tells me it was a promo price the day before. I told that the promo price was still displayed. She tells me I need to go upstairs and take a picture . I ask her to call the employee in that department and she disregards my request. I come back with the picture and she adjusts the price but does not give me the 25% off. She was nasty and curt and extremely unprofessional and should not be representing the store

Have been coming here for years and it is always my go to bed bath and beyond. Last time I visited, most of the shelves were empty I hope this is not one of the stores that is closing. Hopefully it was just inventory or something.

OK so I don't know what's going on with Bed Bath & Beyond I know another location has closed up in Rocklin county but as another reviewer wrote this place is like very lost very low stock of everything shelves are empty there's room there's really not much things are picked over but I asked somebody if they get new stock in and she said that they're waiting But it's been like this for a while now so I don't think I'll be back .. other locations that keep much more stock

I really hope to be able to upgrade this review sometime soon. I have been shopping here for years, I'm willing to pay more than I would to buy on Amazon or Walmart.com because I like to support my local retail businesses.So, what's the issue? The parking lot is strewn with litter, trash and leaves and looks like something you would see on Fordham Road. As much as I want to support local retailers, I'm not willing to pay higher prices AND have to walk through litter and trash.I spoke with a customer service supervisor who told me "nothing we can do, it's the landlord's responsibility". I think that's a weak cop out answer, so I then spoke with Mike, the store manager. He seemed like a very reasonable guy who listened and understood where I was coming from, and he agreed to address it. I'm not sure what he is planning to do, but I am hopeful it gets addressed, so I can upgrade my review AND continue shopping there.BTW, the employees and in particular the cashier who helped me were very nice and professional !

Went in today (10/05/22), the general vibe is very depressing, had to wait forever (1 cashier working), only to learn at checkout the item i had grabbed was mis priced so I left. Store is unkept, blankets covering empty shelves, sparse product stocking. You can tell this isn’t going to last much longer.

I just left the Elmsford store. I did not get my receipt via email. I had to return something!! I went to the Central Ave store. The guy was able to look up my purchase with the card I used. He was able to issue me a refund.

I have been shopping at this Bed Bath & Beyond location for nearly 10 years and it's sad to see how much this store has changed. The staff are still friendly and helpful, but there are few employees to be seen walking throughout the store if you need assistance. The store has been transformed with the removal of many sections including World Market and the Wedding section (registry, china, etc.). There are significantly less products sold in this store than their used to be. There also used to be seasonal merchandise and a plethora of outdoor mats in the entrance when you first walk in -- now, there is nothing to be seen except a few lonely carts. The store looks bare and it's sad that this chain is struggling. I came in today to find some new drinkware and they had nothing. I remember spending over 3 hours in this store to complete my bridal registry with my then-fiancée because there were so many items to choose from. Now, you're lucky to get the essentials with limited options.
