Their automated service is horrible. To talk to a pharmacist you spend so much time waiting, sometimes 20 minutes. When you go there, there's usually so many people in the pharmacy. Why can't they answer the phone?

Attempted to pick up my wife’s prescriptions multiple times kept getting the runaround that they weren’t ready the last time I went to pick them up the woman gave me attitude, mumbled under her breath and pretty much refused to Phil the prescriptions that were sent to the pharmacy over five hours ago Horrible customer service Completely unacceptable will be taking my business to another pharmacy

This is the absolute worst pharmacy I've ever used. Due to medication shortages at other CVS locations, I was forced to switch to the Elmsford location about a year ago and it's been nothing but absolute hell everytime my doctor sends them a prescription. They've put my medications on hold 3 different times and gave no legitimate reason as to why, and for the past 4 months they've updated the statuses of my prescriptions to "In Process" but wouldn't actually fill it unless I show up in person. Calling them on the phone is a complete joke because I've sat on hold for 10+ minutes on multiple occasions just for them to pick up the phone and then immediately hang up without saying anything. Every single time my medication is about to run out, I have to physically show up at the pharmacy, tell them to fill it, and then wait 20-40 min for them to call my name. As a mother of 3 little ones who often run errands with me, this is a total nightmare. It also seems like the men working the registers in the pharmacy have no idea what the miserable women in the back are doing. The men are always friendly and willing to make sure you get your prescription filled when you get there but the women in the back are rude and miserable. If the men aren't there, they will ignore you for 5-10 minutes without saying a word and then come to the register with an attitude like you're inconveniencing them. They aren't willing to help nor do they ever have an explanation as to why orders are put on hold or delayed. Based on everything I've seen over the past year, I'm pretty sure that they're the ones who are always hanging up the phone on customers who call in.Bottom line: If your medication is available at any other pharmacy, just go to that one instead and avoid this like the plague. This is a last resort kind of pharmacy.

Pharmacy is understaffed. Basic prescriptions are taking hours if not DAYS or WEEKS to be fulfilled. Will be changing pharmacy's.

CVS located 805 Mamaroneck av is very nice, clean, organized. Very good store to shopping. The Employee’s are very nice and professional. I highly recommend this place to everyone!!

I have never had a more miserable experience at a pharmacy. I volunteered to take a friend to a Dental appointment and back home as they had to be sedated. When I picked my friend up, the dentist told me to go right to the pharmacy and get the pain medication and antibiotics, they said the Novocain would wear off quickly and my friend needed to take the pain medication quickly. There were 3 workers behind the pharmacy counter, there was nobody else in line but me. The main person looked at me knew i was there and waited at least 3 or 4 minutes to acknowledge my presence. It turned out that there was some kind of insurance snafu, which is understandable. It was explained to me that I needed to get another doctor to write the prescription or pay out of pocket. The Tylenol with Codine was 25$ the antibiotics 17$. I agreed to pay it. I was informed that it would take at least 20 minutes. I begged them to be quick as my friend was in terrible pain. I think she said 20 minutes is what it is going to take. I said I will be right back I am just going to tell my friend that it is going to be a few Minutes. I told my friend that it was going to be a few minutes, I had a Cigarette and went back in. I saw the pharmacist put the prescription on the counter. Then she completely ignored me and helped some lady who showed up for 800$ eye drops, Medicare would only cover 300$ and she had to pay 500$. She gave very personal service to that woman. Just look at the video. My friend who just had every tooth pulled from their mouth was in agony in my car outside of this store. I am not sure why I was treated so poorly. The delay in filling the prescription seemed intentional. I have never met the pharmacist before but she seemed to not like me for whatever reason. I would accept a public apology on this review or we let the lawyers work it out. This happened at around 6.00pm -7.00pm 9/28/2023. Just look at the video and apologize and we call it a day.

They never answer the phone ! I was on hold several times for over 10 minutes and got so annoyed I just hang up. I've had a prescription in progress for over a week. No one has reached out to me to let me know what is going on with the prescription. I then call the front of the store thinking they'd be able to help and im on hold again for the call to then be disconnected or hung up on. You guys need to do better !

My CVS was out of my prescription. Elmsford had it so my doctor sent it there. After waiting 27 minutes on line to pick it up, I was told that it’s back ordered…..never notified me. My dr prescribed brand so I’d have it, The system says it’s still processing and I’m waiting 35 minutes for pharmacy to pick up phone! It’s been 4 days since it was originally sent. I’D RATHER TRAVEL OUT OF STATE TO PICK UP THAN GO TO ELMSFORD!!!!!!!!!!

The pharmacy opened 15 minutes behind schedule, and it is evident that the pharmacy techs and pharmacists show no regard for their customers. Their behaviors are remarkably callous and rude.

while doing some biz in the elmsford area i made a stop at the local cvs and i couldnt believe this sh#t, a bum was filling up his bag with stuff with such abandonment and no care in the world. i got the attention of the manager and he called the cops but mr crook had already bounce .ok it is what it is and now is me grabbing a diet pepsi , a few candy bars as its my lunch break. fairly standard cvs from front to back and pharmacy in rear. not open 24/7 but area is mostly a ghost town as night as folks who know elmsford will understand. many of these type of bizs have been hit hard by no care in the world shoplifters and stores are closing left and right cause of it . 3 stars on my yelp meter and i will add another star if crook is caught.

Not sure what's worse the dirty store or the completely incompetent and rude pharmacy staff. I'll go with the Pharmacy staff because of the deliberate lack of caring.
