I was in Elmsford for a wedding and wanted to get my hair done. I was a little intimidated when I walked in because everyone was speaking Spanish and unfortunately I only know English :( however, everyone in the salon was very friendly and helpful. Another client who was obviously a regular even helped translate for me. The prices are competitive and they could easily get away with charging more! I did not get the name of the woman who did my hair but I showed her a picture of the style I wanted and she killed it! She was so detail oriented and my hair honestly came out better than the picture I showed her. Would highly recommend and I am so disappointed I don’t have a salon like this where I live!

Recently moved to White Plains from Baltimore, and I was in for a fade. As a new client who could turn to a regular one, I would expect the barber to be more welcoming and accommodating. I showed the barber a picture of my cut I got in Baltimore two weeks ago, and he said he can do it the "Baltimore" way. Sadly that wasn't the case. The barber had very poor communication skills and lacked professionalism. I'm not fluent in Spanish, but I can understand enough to know when someone is making comments about my simple request. I overlooked the bad mouthing because the fade was looking good. But things took a turn for the worse when he started freely clipping my top when I had specifically asked that there be a defined divide between the sides and top. Me being polite and optimistic, I let the barber continue. However, when I asked him to cut the top a little shorter. He cut it way too short on one side and left it long on the other. At this point he started telling his colleague that he'll be charging $5 extra. Anyway, I left giving him $10 extra for his time, though, that is all he'll ever get from me. Not coming back, but you may get better service if you're Dominican.

This place is incredibly hit or miss, but but mostly miss. I have been here several times and there only one barber that has some real talent and takes directions well. With the blasting music it is hard to give good direction for your hair (made worse by a language barrier if you do not speak Spanish). All of this I can forgive, but what I can not forgive is the shady Over Charging! Like most places, an extra 5 dollars is added for work on the beard. The first time I went I said "no beard" they still did it and charged me the extra money. I thought, ok maybe it's a mistake. I went back to give them one more chance, and I regret it fully. This time they listened to my instruction and did not touch my beard but STILL CHARGED ME THE 5 DOLLARS EXTRA! When I asked why the extra money was on there, he told me it was "tax". At this point I just wanted to leave, so I did not fight with them and left. Go anywhere else if you value your money! SHADY SHADY SHADY!

Loved how they were able to tone it down to this color. I had a bright blonde. She brought my hair back to life. They're amazing!!! I highly recommend them!
