So after my dealer Mohegan Lake Volkswagon/Audi ignored my head gasket issue on my 2022 Taos which was covered under warranty, Volkswagon Corporate advised me to go to another VW Seevice Center.VW of White Plains Service Center & Service Advisor Francisco Lopez fixed my car in a timely manner. Very professional and courteous crew. I wish I had given VW of White Plains my buisness originally they deserve it!!Service: Engine repair

Customer service experience was not great. Did not get any information on when my car was ready for pick up. I was supposed to pick it up on a Monday and didn't get it until Tuesday night. I called 4x and got the answering service, and never got a call back from someone at the shop. When I finally got in touch with someone at the shop, they told me they had called me 4 hours earlier and that the car was ready. I had no missed calls and no messages. I sat around waiting all day to go and get my car and had no communication, except with a call center who could not get in touch with anyone for me. The people at the garage were nice, and understood the frustration with the answering service. But overall, not a great customer service experience.

Everyone here is nice and it is easy to get a service appointment, but at my last appt, they were supposed to check all the fluids, which it said on my receipt. Unfortunately, they did not and a couple of weeks later I had the coolant warning light go on and discovered there was almost no coolant in the car. Obviously not checked. Makes me wonder if I need to top off all the fluids myself and if I was charged for that time.Services: General repairs & maintenance

Service at White Plains VW has not been great. The service representative at VW has been very rude to us. We've brought our ID4 in several times for electrical system errors. We've requested loaners, and never received (although promised the first time the issues happened). The last time we brought it in it was held for several days. We never received a call about the status of the car until after we placed several calls into the center several days after dropping the car off. One particular service rep tends to curse out loud while customers are present, and generally implies that we are inconveniencing her. Its a shame to be treated this way. We've invested a significant amount of money in our first electric vehicle and were used to great service from Audi and Subaru previous to this experience.

Terrible experience. Sales guys don’t know answers to basic questions and keep going back to the manager to check. The FINANCE team is another bunch of inefficient folks. If you ever call the outlet and ask to be transferred to them, they say someone from the finance team will call back but they never do. Not ONCE have I ever got a call back! If I need some documents/have some queries on the documentation that was sent to me, the sales guy can’t answer questions, the finance team doesn’t call back…so that’s that!Not sure if anyone at VW AG or VW North America even reaches out to customers to gather customer feedback…or even reads these reviews that get posted!

White Plains Volkswagon replaced the rubber on the passenger side door that was beginning to peel off. Setting the appointment was easy, and I was able to drop the car off the same day. Repair took a few days, but the problem has been resolved for now, so I am happy. Customer service wss great. They dropped me off, and picked me up using LYFT ride share.

The VW team was abysmal. The front desk staff did not listen to the concerns about the car and on three separate occasions reported only partial information from us to the service team. They did not initiate or return calls, including the manager, Bob Dennison, including when they saw fit to return the car without completed service. The technician clearly did not actually look at the problem since the service manager could spot the problem without the aid of any technical equipment or training.This is our second such fiasco with White Plains VW service. They like to use the phrase "the problem could not be replicated" when you have a warranty.Our car has just under 1000 miles on the 60,000 mile warranty. At that point we will either sell the car and buy from a different manufacturer or seek out service at a new VW dealership and service center.Service: Electrical repair

Came in for my last scheduled service and was told it would take about 30-45 minutes and made an appointment for 11:30 on my lunch break. When I drop the car off I was told it would be done around 4:00 pm. I asked about why I was told the above time and was told that’s how long it takes to do the oil change. The guys go to lunch at 12pm and won’t see it until they finish the cars that were dropped off earlier. The workmanship was fine but wasting almost 5 hrs for an oil change is a joke. Great experience servicing my VW here. They really helped me out when I was in a bind. I originally had my Golf at another VW dealership in LI and was not satisfied with their communication. After a week stringing me along I went and picked up my car after it still wasn’t diagnosed. I called White Plains VW and explained to them my situation. I spoke to Norma, she was so nice on the phone. She said if I picked my car up I could drop it off immediately. I drove an hour and did a night drop off. The next day Norma called, they had the car diagnosed and was going to begin the warranty repair. After 3 days they had everything fixed. Norma was really helpful, communicated with me and got the work completed. Picked up the car earlier than I expected. Highly recommend, definitely coming back. Really appreciate the great service they provided me after a terrible one with another local VW dealership. Thanks!

White Plains Volkswagen service department is the most professional, dedicated team I have dealt with. Florence handled my service request in a professional and amicable manner. What I loved about Flo, is she told me exactly cost of service upfront and did not leave me wondering for a surprise later on. She answered my questions and asked to call her if I did. Kudos to Flo! This is just a reflection of their Management and how well they service the customer. This is why I continue to bring my 8 year old Tiguan to White Plains Volkswagen.

This is an updated review as I’ve had to take my car back to this service center five times for the airbag light indicator coming back on. I’ve spent over $2000 to have it fixed - including replacing the airbag.The last time I took it in, around 7/26/23, and complained about the $417 bill, a service agent told me that my car was old, and that they had informed me that it could take several attempts before it was fixed correctly. That was a lie. They never told me this and that just doesn’t sound right. It’s almost laughable but really not funny given that I am the one out over $2K. The service manager also told me that my car was old - which I don’t dispute. He told me that every time a diagnostic test was done on the car for the airbag light, a different diagnostic code came up.I even got a Volkswagen Care Center advocate involved to help me with this situation and they were not helpful at all. It was like having a rep relay messages between the service center and me. I had to get the WP dealership manager involved just to get a callback from the service manager. They are unprofessional (swear in front of customers) and lack proper customer service communication skills.

Needed to drop off the car to then go to work and then have the car dropped off at work and honestly the process couldn’t have been why smoother! Diego really made sure things went smooth and didn’t have to worry about anything. Great service!Service: Tires

Norma was great, kept in contact during the day while my car was in for service. When they didn’t have drivers to take me home after drop off, she ordered a Lyft. Servicing your car shouldn’t be inconvenient and it wasn’t, except that now I’m going to have to bring my car back, because I specifically requested the mechanic test drive my car to identify a rattle at my passenger rear wheel, but when I drove home I heard the sound again, checked mileage and notes on the invoice. No test drive was performed. When I asked, I was told “The service manager looked at it…everything is fine.”Services: Air & cabin filter replacement

Left message for manager, Bob and never got a call back. Irresponsible.Florence was unwelcoming and dismissed my complaint when I walked in.... very unprofessional.I would not recommend nor return. Very disappointing that VW treats their customers so poorly.
