The Rose Apartments was a great place to live as opposed to regular college housing. Joy and John were very hospitable and understanding the entire time, making the experience that much more enjoyable. The apartments are quiet, clean, and very decently sized/priced.

Stayed here while doing a 12-week summer internship at the Cummins plant in Lakewood. John and Joy were extremely accommodating, they responded to any concerns I had in a timely manner (when I needed to learn how to use a circuit breaker, and WIFI) and Joy assisted me in setting up my account with Jamestown BPU for my water and utilities upon move-in. Joy was personable and lovely, she would occasionally drop by with a treat (i.e. muffins, pie, etc) in the evenings and she truly made Rose Apartments feel like home for me, albeit I came from Los Angeles, CA.The apartment was already furnished with all the essentials I needed and, more importantly, was consistently functional and clean. My favorite thing about the apartment were the high ceilings, it made the place feel less confined and helps in air ventilation when it got hot during the summer, and their huge private parking lot (don't need to worry about street parking). Admittedly, utilizing the ceiling fans would push the hot air down but opening the windows and/or having a stand alone fan was an easy fix if it got hot. The washer/dryer units in the basement was a convenience, the other tenants were respectful and quiet, and the surrounding areas were safe and had nearby grocery markets (Tops?) and stores (CVS, Dollar General) for any necessities you may need to buy.All in all, I would like to thank John and Joy for providing me with a wonderful experience and the professional service. 10/10 highly recommend for any serious student/intern/co-op.

Lived at the Rose Apartments for 6 months and Joy and John were the nicest landlords I've ever seen. Whenever I had a problem in the apartment whether it be WIFI or the laundry, they were quick to solve the problem. They are also knowledgeable with the area so any newcomers like me are welcomed. I'm not sure about the other apartments but the only downside to my room was that it didn't have A/C (it had heating) so it was a little bit hot during the summer days but overall i had a positive experience at the Rose Apartments

I loved these apartments. It was quiet for studying and a huge place to experience life on my own. I wasn’t into partying so that wasn’t an issue and the landlords would ask how I was doing pretty routinely which was comforting as this was my first time being away from my parents.

Great alternative to the dorms at JCC! 5 min drive/15 min walk to the college, clean & well kept building, and close to restaurants/groceries. Landlords are always there to help if you need it!

Way better than staying in the dorm rooms at the college, where there is constant drug use and alcohol. The Rose Apartments is 0.8 miles away from the college, which means a 15 minute walk at most. The landlords are very nice and accommodating, both with great personalities. Rent is less than what one would pay for living at the dorms, and monthly utility bills are usually pretty cheap. All-in-all... a great place to stay if you are looking at attending Jamestown Community College.

I had no problems at the rose apartments at all. They were also very clean, and the landlords were very nice. The apartments would have maintenance on them when a problem arose. If you are a college student looking to live off campus this is a great place to live. The rent is more affordable than the dorms and still close by only being a 20 minute walk. However this is not the apartments to be partying at. No alcohol or smoking is allowed on the premises. I loved this aspect but other people hate this. This is definitely more of an environment for college students wanting to study hard and be successful in life. Any problems that the tenants have are usually solved by a reasonable time by the landlords.

Incredibly safe and enjoyable place to rent. John and Joy are very personable and respectful people who take the time to know every tenant and help them on their journey through young adulthood. Incredibly understanding and completely fair, they uphold standards that makes sure everyone in the building is happy. They make an over the top effort to ensure the building is the safest in the area and all of the tenants are completely taken care of. No complaints by me and I enjoyed my time at Rose Apartments!

I stayed here for couple months because of my summer clinical rotation. The place was very safe and clean. Before my clinical, I was worried about how I'm going to find a housing that is clean because a lot of reasonably priced places were dirty and the clean ones were way too expensive. I found this place through my clinical instructor and I was very glad because it was reasonably priced and clean. Also, Joy and John are always really quick on responding if you need their attention. They also live on the first floor so that always gave me some comfort that things will be safe and the building is trustworthy. If you have any issues, just let them know and within couple hours, they take care of it for you. Parking lot is quite big so there was no parking issues, there's a really good Mexican restaurant literally right across the street, kitchen space and living room is pretty big, and the location is safe. My summer stay was very delightful and I'd recommend this place. :)

I lived here my second year of college after a terrible experience at the JCC dorms. I absolutely LOVED my year here! The landlords are so nice and friendly. They really care about their tenants, which is something a lot of landlords don’t do. They work with you to find a plan that works best for you. You couldn’t ask for a better location to live. The apartments are located in a quiet, safe neighborhood, within walking distance of several stores and restaurants and just a short walk to JCC. I never felt nervous or unsafe. As someone who did not have a car, this was a huge perk for me. There’s multiple parks in the neighborhood and the Chadakoin river runs directly behind the apartments. Overall, this was a safe, friendly, clean, and wonderful apartment to reside at. I truly enjoyed my short year there!

Very caring and friendly landlords who are willing to talk and give advice. Will answer any questions you have about the apartments and like to keep up with their tenants to make sure that they are well cared for and satisfied with their living space. Very spacious living quarters although moving furniture to the third floor will be tiring no matter what. Would recommend to another student, as long as the student isn't going to back out of paying their rooming bill.

Horrible. I would seriously keep looking and not settle for this apartment. Lease was changed by the landlords after it was signed. The landlords are extremely invasive wanting to know who is visiting and what you are doing at all times. Often come in your apartment unannounced. Verbally threaten to "kick" you out or "fine" you if they suspect any minor wrong doing. Appear very nice at first meeting but this is not the case. It is freezing in the winter months and extremely hot in the warmer months. Bedrooms are not adequate sizing. Door knobs fall off. Cabinets fall apart. Toilets clog. Dangerous area. Often witnessing criminal activity outside your window. Save yourself the headache and find a different place.

The Rose Apartments in Falconer New York is by far the worst place I have ever lived in my entire life. There is absolutely no privacy!!!!!! The landlords are straight psycho paths. They act like nice old people in the beginning they bribe people with chocolate and pop. They make it sound like it’s the best place in the entire world to live but in reality it’s a jail cell. they act like they are your parents.. they just use there key and walk into your apartment illegally. They harassed me every ALMOST EVERY WEEK I LIVED THERE!! it was the most awful thing I have ever experienced. you cant even listen to your music on low because they will call the cops on you. they are so nosey and rude. Also when I moved into the apartment it was completely disgusting nothing was clean. I was on my hands and knees scrubbing the floors and cleaning EVERYTHING!!! once they came into my apartment when I was on Christmas break and I had a note on my door saying keep out and a paragraph written out from MY LEASE! because they kept coming into my apartment unauthorized and they came into my apartment and took a picture of it sent it to my MOM!!! Im 19 years old an adult. my name is on the lease and they send notes home like a child complaining about nothing when they are the ones who broke the rules. anyway the point is DO NOT LIVE AT THE ROSE APARTMENTS!!!!!!!!!! EVERYONE THAT I HAVE TALKED TO THAT’S LIVED THERE HAS NEVER ENJOYED LIVING EXPERIENCE THERE.!!!! ITS SO BAD I WOULD GIVE IT A RATING OF ZERO.
