The sales staff there are good but the service department has been a negative experience . My new vehicle was brought there for a 3 month check up and I asked about noisy scraping noise when applying brakes . Their diagnosis , new rear rotors needed . Bit of a shock for a 3 month old car . Driving away , I noticed the noise was still there . Turned around and they assessed further , they said the front rotors also needed replacing . All covered by warranty but still a shock that all four rotors need work after on 3 months of minimal driving . After they had done all 4 , the noise was still there . The tech said to drive it for a while and it will go away . A year later the noise is still there . I think they replaced 4 rotors for no valid reason.
6 months later the vehicle showed a “door fault “. Shultz service checked the error code and said I needed a new door module . They said it would take “only 1-2 weeks “ for the module to arrive . I called after three weeks and they said it was on back order , “call in a month “. I called in June , in July and August and no luck . In Sept the part was in and ready to install . After waiting in their waiting room for two hours they said “bad news, we installed the module but now another door fault code has been triggered . We can order another part and replace it in a few days “. I declined and said I would take my business elsewhere . At a different dealer the service manager implied that Shultz probably did not install the originally ordered module and then have it trigger a new door fault . He thinks Shultz misdiagnosed the original door fault and ordered the wrong part

I have had an excellent experience purchasing a Chevrolet Traverse from this dealership. Even though I live in South Dakota the transaction was easy and the communication with Joseph my sales person was excellent. There was never any loose end or dropped balls. I would definitely buy from them again. It was a pleasure dealing with everyone I had contact with at the dealership.

Always so friendly and they go beyond and above to make sure my vehicle is perfectly maintained. They let know in advance about timelines of when things may need change or repair. Very fast and have a very large and comfortable waiting area.

My engine may have been ruined because a Shultz "tech" put my valve cover gasket on wrong and my engine was driven without oil as a result. All of this after I specifically asked not to do the service.
