DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANT PROBLEMS WITH YOUR CAR! Brought my car to get the usual upkeep maintenance done to it (I’ve never had issues with my car before I brought it to them) now I have NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS! Thanks Mavis for being useless, you’re doing great at it!

Worst customer experience ever and I'm not one to write reviews EVER! My husband ordered tires on a Wednesday from here and and made an appointment to bring his truck in the following Saturday to have them put on. Upon bringing his truck in they realized they ordered the wrong size tires. Was told the correct tires would be in on Thursday...Called on Thursday morning inquiring when to bring the truck in and was told he'd receive a call right back to let him know. Waited all day but never received a call back, wasted a second day costing him another days work and was then told the tires never came and would now be in on Saturday instead. Called again on Saturday and was told the tires would be in any minute but that he'd have to leave his truck for 2 hours for them to be put on which had never been discussed with him previously (the other Saturday they brought his truck in right away and already had it on the lift before they realized the tires were the wrong size)! Three attempts to give them the business at which they've failed miserably at so he finally gave up and will go elsewhere for tires.

Went in for an inspection, first time didn’t pass. Brought it back, gave the worker my key and said call me when it’s done. Three hours go by and no call. I call them myself, and they say “oh yeah you’re all set.” I go there to pick up the car and they tell me to hold on a second as I’m walking out the door, and that it didn’t pass again. After already charging me for the inspection the previous day saying “you already paid so when you bring it in tomorrow you don’t have to pay for the inspection.” But I didn’t pass, and did not get my money back. In other words, I gave money for a service I never received, and got told my car was ready when it was not ready. A joke of a shop and service.

These people are liars! Do not trust them with your vehicle they will lie to get you to do un needed work. A whole garage full of con artists. Id give 0 stars if i could.

Disgusted with this place my husband brought our car there for an inspection last week. They said they were unable to do it because we had a frozen caliper. My husband and I both didn't notice anything so we decided to go to our trusted mechanic and sure enough nothing wrong. They are liars and cheats! Don't waste your money here!!

I come here every year for my annual inspection, tire rotation and oil change. Ralf and the Crew did an amazing job for me. Even after a couple of things that went awry, they went above and beyond to make sure I was safe and a satisfied customer.

If I could rate it zero stars I would. The workers are incompetent. I brought my car in for a routine inspection in July of this year and they failed it cause “my steering rack was leaking”. A week later I brought it to the dealership to get the leak fixed and my inspection and they said it never was leaking. Mavis thought the residual oil on the bottom of my engine (from a pre existing leak) was the steering rack and then decided to fail me without actually trying to diagnose it. Mavis sucks. If you want good work that’s done cheaper than a dealer then go anywhere else other than Mavis. 0/5 DO NOT RECOMMEND

Exceptional service from Xavier and his team at Mavis Discount Tire! They did an outstanding job on my brakes and tires. Fast, efficient, and reliable service. Reasonable prices and transparent explanations. Highly recommend!

If i can give this Mavis Discount Tire location ZERO Stars I would. I called This Mavis location on 9/6/23 to see if they had any availability to have my brakes inspected. They stated that i can come in. I went there around 12pm. Randy Brent who is the general manager helped me with me car. He got me checked in. While I waited for my car to be finished i sat on a chair by the front desk working on my laptop. Once my car was done being inspected a black woman by the name of Gabriella Bradford whom was wearing a wig with highlights called my name to inform me that my car was ready. I started to pack my belongings to walk up to the front desk. When i was then approached by her where she handed me the keys and stated as i quote "I am going to be professional because I'm at work but you know what it is?" I responded back and asked her "Excuse me, what are you talking about?" She continued to say "You know what I'm talking about and further said i don't really care about this job i will meet you outside" This woman continued to explain how she knows i spoke about her in a group chat. This woman was clearly delusional and threatened me at this establishment. Randy Brent walked into the middle of it and Never intervened as a general manager. He went and sat down at the computer and continued his work. This employee was very unprofessional and it wasn't until i approached Randy and asked for the manager is when he finally gave me corporate number to call. I also explained to Randy what had occurred and further explained to him that this employee stated that she knew i was coming in for service and so i asked Randy how could she have been made aware of this if i had spoken to him that morning. He stated that my name comes up in the system when i called. He then escorted me to my car and i left. I called corporate and filed a claim and was told Paul the owner would be reaching out to me. i then get a call from Randy. The same person who did not nothing at the time of the incident. He asked for further information and i then asked him what information of mine could have been compromised. He said he would look into it and call me back. He never called me back. I called corporate once again and they explained to me that this Mavis is privately owned and this would have to be handled by the owner Paul. Whom i was initially told would be reaching out to me. Paul has yet to call me. I've been customer of Mavis for over 10 years and the customer service i experience was unacceptable and nothing was done in regards to this incident. This person is still employed at this location and no disciplinary action was taken. Randy Brent informed me that she was "Spoken to". Which in my years of experience with Customer Service should have been grounds for termination. You "speak" to a child when they do something wrong but this is a Grown adult who is fully aware of how they should conduct themselves in a professional establishment. Never would i recommend this Mavis to anyone. You should not have to go to an establishment for service to be harassed and threatened by an employee. NEVER AGAIN!I would highly recommend Mavis Tire in New Paltz or Kerhonkson if you are looking for real good customer service.UPDATE: 9/19/23This Generic response below is not how you problem solve. In fact this is the same response to all your bad reviews here.Consumer Solutions department cannot do anything about the incident that took place at your establishment. Consumer Solution informed me that because it is a franchise and is privately owned that owner will need to reach out to me. I spoke with Randy Brent and requested on 9/14/23 that the owner Paul give me a call back. It is now 5 days later and The owner Paul this Establishment has yet to reach out to me.

Want to be aggravated, go to this store it is unbelievably horrible.You have to make an appointment online and they make you wait hours, I am not exaggerating,hours.They do a terrible job, and you have to go back many times to get it corrected and still most likely will not be corrected. The store is the only one of 2 that are franchised that means you are on your own. GOOD LUCK.

On my home from Philly to Quebec, my brake caliper got stuck. I was really desperate to find a solution and wouldn’t you know it someone sent over to this shop. They took my car right away, and proceeded to replace the rear calipers, the discs and the pads in about an hour. They had all the parts and the time to do this, and that is truly awesome. I can not thank them enough, without them I don’t know what I would’ve done. I was able to safely return and do an 8 hours drive right away after the new parts have been installed. Outstanding service, outstanding quality of work and great parts quality. I was even able to watch the mechanic replace the parts and talk to him as he did it. I would highly advice to visit this shop !!
