one of the staff members, I believe it’s the Owner , acts like he’s Gods gift of music and any question u ask is a dumb question . Sells cheaply made stuff and charges more than when the item originally cost to get it fixed . I truly believe the only reason the shop still exists is because Lancaster School District recommends them for some reason.

Great local music store. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and patient. Prices are competitive. I've done business with them since the early '90s and rate them excellent.

I've been dealing with Twin Village for 5+ years. They always are willing to help and answer any questions you may have. Items there are reasonably priced and the staff is very knowledgeable. I take lessons there and when I need repairs or supplies they have everything. Great place!

Brought in my flute to have it cleaned for my daughter who was starting band. The owner was very rude to me. He seemed annoyed that I was even there and telling me it would be $300 dollars to "fix" it before he even pulled it out of the case. I hadn't even asked for anything to be fixed, only a cleaning. Another person came out, much more politely and actually looked at it. She quoted me a real price of $115 for the cleaning and said to could use some new pads. I agreed at the time, because the music store I usually use had closed down and this one had been recommended by the school. The flute repair was done well, but I will not be using them again as I'm still very frustrated by how I was treated.

Loyal customer for over 20 years! Amazing customer service & prices! Great stock of all levels of any instrument and if what you need isn't in stock- it's no problem for them to order it promptly. The repair staff is highly skilled, professional, efficient and fair priced. Amazing service; picking up and delivering any repairs/supplies/rentals to schools for all those busy, on-the-go parents! The teaching staff for private lessons is top notch, allowing students of any level to take one-on-one lessons with a teacher that is specialized in that specific instrument. HIGHLY recommend Twin Village Music for all your music needs!!!

Stopped in to rent an alto saxaphone for my son. Great music store with a very knowledgeable and helpful staff. Would highly recommend for rental instruments as well as musical needs from drums, string instruments, wind/brass, music books etc. We came from Hamburg and was well worth the trip!

I took my new PRS guitar there to get setup and Chris did a fantastic job. The price was an insane deal and the turnaround time was the best in the area. I have taken my guitars to Guitar Center and other local businesses, and even have ordered them setup, but I won't need to do that anymore.I will be back!

I got a trumpet from them off of eBay, and they did a really great job. It was clean looking and sounding good, in better condition than the ebay product description, if anything. And they included instructions and lubricant and a cleaning brush, all sorts of extras that they didn't mention. And the price was good. It looks like they really took a lot of care with an old instrument, fixed it up, and sent it along to the next trumpeter. I really have the sense that they take pride in their work, are ethical, and really want to support musicians in having a good time. My kind of music shop!

I moved out of the area some years ago, but this place was always amazing and will be one of my first stops should I come back to the area to visit friends. Don Farmer taught me to play bass and enjoy music in new ways. I'll forever hold onto the memories of sitting with him as we listened to my 90s grunge and rock cds, figuring out the bass lines together. Long live twin city music!

Wonderful customer service. The A string on my banjo uke popped.I did not get the name of the man who helped me, but he put the string on and tuned it...and didn’t charge me. I bought a ukulele from Twin Village a few years ago and I will say they had a good selection. There are 2 music stores closer to me in the Southtowns, but it’s worth the drive to Lancaster.
