Collins Brothers moved my home and they were extremely professional, on time, and on budget. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs a reliable moving & storage company!

I can't say I've ever had a "good" experience with movers before, but I did with Collins for my local move in Westchester last fall. Patrick and his team were pleasantly friendly and efficient; we were out of the old house and into the new one in under 6 hours. He walked through the house with me at the start of the move and called out a couple of items that weren't on the inventory so we could move them ourselves to avoid an upcharge. The only negative was that the sales team was a bit hard to get in touch with to confirm details prior to our move date. Overall, would recommend and use again.

Terrible company. Rude movers and sloppy. Spoke extremely disrespectfully when asked to follow the rules. Even started filming the resident asking. Refuse to follow building rules including wearing a mask and closing the front door. No one should hire this company.

Overpriced and unreliable service - I was obligated to use this company through work relocation services. They packed everything and then failed to ship it on the agreed upon date resulting in all our personal belongings arriving over a week late. For what they charge you would think they could remember the basics such as getting our goods on the truck in time. In addition other minor but inconvenient issues - they packed our router power cord resulting in us not having internet.

Let's face it, nobody likes to move, but when you have to move Collins Brothers is the mover to use. Their movers were professional, accommodating, and all around amazing. They sent enough men to get the job done in the time they quoted. From the office staff to the guys I had a wonderful experience all around.

DO NOT USE COLLINS BROTHERS MOVING CORPORATION, THEIR CREW STOLE FROM US. We hired them to help us move out of state and their crew stole several items from us. We are now in the process of bringing them to court over this, so please be warned, do not hire this company. They are garbage who hire thieves to work for them. The rating system needs to be changed so that you can leave 0 STARS.

Collins Brothers was hired by my employer to pack my belongings when I was transferred to a new location last year. Most of the staff was great, friendly, and packed everything thoroughly. But unfortunately one member of the staff stole an item while packing things in the back of the apartment. Thankfully I was reimbursed for the cost of the item after I noticed it was nowhere to be found at my new location, but I cannot give a company anything higher than 1-star after a theft occurred.

I relocated from NYC to Seattle and Collins Brothers was selected by my company to help me move (but I would pay for this move over the course of 2 years). This was by far the worst experience I've ever had with movers, and I've been moving every single year since 2009. - During the packing, I bought lunch for the guys. It took 2 weeks for my belongings to arrive in Seattle. When checking my inventory upon arrival, I noticed a large box that was not there before. Opened it up and it was leftover Indian food and packaging that was rancid and moldy, along with beverage bottles and other types of trash. This was weighed and shipped in a "tightly secured vault" with all my belongings. - Told me to keep all clothing in my dresser for my mover; then, on day of move, removed all items from my dresser without letting me know until I asked what some of these extra boxes were. - Did not lay down any floor protection for the move and badly scratched up my hard wood floors in both living room and bedroom with their trollies. When I showed these scratches to the driver, he vehemently expressed disbelief and talked down to me until I emailed his management with photos with the trollies lining up perfectly with the scratch marks. - Claimed my 600 SF one bedroom apartment had contents that weighed nearly 5000 pounds in weight (they could not show me proof). These are the furnitures I own: 1 queen bed, 1 mattress, 2 dressers, 1 3x2 desk, 1 3x5 bookshelf, 1 3-seater couch, 1 laundry basket, 1 mirror, 3 pole lamps. The heaviest thing here by far is the queen bed, which according to the website weighs 180 pounds when packed. You be the judge if the total, even with clothing and packaging material, could possibly out to 5000 pounds. - Unpacking a 3x2 box upon arrival, I realized its contents were: 3 bowls, 4 plates, my silverware... and about 50 pounds of packaging paper. Most boxes I opened had an absurd amount of packaging paper. - I don't know how they charged me for things like "dish boxes" and "mirror box". The little tableware I had were wrapped in paper (no padding or bubblewrap) and thrown into a giant box. The "mirror box" was a torn-apart cardboard box reconstructed, also without padding or blanket wrapping. - On the inventory list, they described my belongings as pretty much garbage, to cover their own asses for poor packing practices. They wrote that my sofa was "badly torn, with holes", the face of my dressers were "badly scratched up". Both were in pristine condition, even upon arrival. Collins Brothers charges for weight and for packaging material used so it's not a surprise they're gauging customers by grossly misrepresenting the weight and adding on unnecessary packaging material to your shipment. Not to mention your shipment may arrive with pest infested garbage and rancid food. There's more but maybe this little preview will have demonstrated the atrocity.

How sad to have to say this. Our experience with Collins Brothers was a disaster. We only sent a few antiques with them on a long distance move from NY to New Orleans and they managed to shatter every piece of furniture. Plus, they didn't deliver all of it and didn't tell us why until we had to pursue them. They have yet to return any phone calls as well. Worst of all was they were sneaky about the breakage: hidden behind tape and wrapped blankets that we discovered once they were gone. Thank god for photos

I moved cross country, from NYC to California and Collins Brothers moving was contracted through Atlas Van Lines. Three gentlemen arrived at my apartment ready to pack all that was needed. They were very efficient, fast and friendly. Everything was packed accordingly and well. Once I received my items in Cali, everything was intact. I was worried about my TV being damaged, all my furniture and items arrived safely and in the same condition it was packed in. I would definitely recommend them for moving. I overall loved the service provided and am so happy all my items arrived intact!

I did not get anywhere beyond an initial call to this company, as the customer service representative I spoke with on the phone completely shut me down and jumped down my throat. She would not let me ask a single question that I called to ask about, and even hung up on me twice; to which I immediately called back to attempt to finish my side of the conversation to be completely verbally attacked again. Towards the end of this call I finally said, "should I be looking elsewhere for a moving company?" To which she responded, "yes, you SHOULD keep looking!!!" My question was simply about availability, which I was met with frankly, fierce bullying. I am absolutely appalled.

This company was one of the worst I've ever dealt with.....I've moved so many times and this was by far a nightmare. It started with Collins Bros taking over the storage of my things that were damaged from a flood in my apt. Things were brought to Collins bros after being in storage at another facility. When I went to check on my property at the time it was moved, things were identified that were broken and lost, and in the end, my insurance settled with me over those items. I saw my property the day it came to Collins because they laid everything out for me to inspect. They repacked everything before it went into their storage after I left. When I went to pick up my things a year later, items were broken that were not previously, art work and antiques were missing....Items were co mingled and listed on my bill of lading that were not even MINE!! My antique gold pier mirrors were lost and finally found. The marble parts to a dresser were GONE. It was a nightmare. When I contacted Collins, they had me fill out a claim to their insurance. Their insurance denied the claim and Collins bros washed their hands of the situation. An attorney from Travelers insurance (Collins Bros insurance) called ME and told me why they rejected the claim. Collins bros had out and out LIED about my public adjustor being a witness that the items were fine at the time when my things arrived to their storage. In fact the Public adjustor NEVER saw my property when Collins bros repacked everything, and I eventually fired him. He was not aware of the condition that I found my things when I went to pick my stuff up. Then Collins had the nerve to respond to my BBB complaint saying that my insurance paid me for the damaged items that I was seeking money for.... A HUGE LIE, my insurance refused to pay for things Broken and Lost under Collins Bros watch!!! They were out of the picture the day my things left Enterprise storage. THIS IS THE HUGE LIE THAT COLLINS BROS TOLD THE BBB..... WORD FOR WORD in a response they wrote....poorly, I might add... "Collins Brothers was advised by Allstate that Mrs. Perilman was provided a settlement that included items that were being claimed against Collins Brothers. As a result of all of the above, Mrs. Perilman's claim was denied by Travelers. In the denial letter Travelers advised Mrs. Perilman if she had "any additional information that you believe we have not considered, please forward that information to me for consideration." To Collins Brothers knowledge, Mrs. Perilman has not reached out to Traveleres with any additional information." I ABSOLUTELY TALKED TO TRAVELERS LAWYER AND TOLD THEM THAT COLLINS BROS WAS LYING. I TOLD THEM THAT THE ORIGINAL WAREHOUSE MANAGER DIED, AND A NEW PERSON WAS THERE WHEN I CAME ALONE TO RECLAIM MY THINGS. I brought a gentleman with me the day I came to pick up my things who was buying my household, what was left of it... He is witness that MR MILLER, MY PUBLIC ADJUSTOR WAS NOT THERE!!! HE HAD BEEN FIRED WEEKS BEFORE I CAME TO CLAIM MY THINGS. HE WAS FIRED FOR NOT SETTLING MY CLAIM WITH ALLSTATE AND NOT FOLLOWING UP WITH SETTLEMENT FOR MY HOUSEHOLD. HE WAS LITERALLY LYING TO GET EVEN SINCE HE WAS CUT OUT OF THE SETTLEMENT I DID MYSELF!!!. HE ABSOLUTELY NEVER SAW MY PROPERTY AFTER THE FIRST MOVE TO THE STORAGE. Allstate would NEVER pay for items at Collins bros because they were only responsible and settled for the items broken at Enterprise movers and storage, another HORRIBLE company. ONCE things were moved to Collins, the move was on me.... As for this tall tale Collins bros tells about me not contacting their insurance....I call BS!!! I definitely spoke to the people at Travelers, and their position was that the statement by the Public adjustor was their basis for denying my claim..... That guy was NEVER ever present to see my property after the day it arrived and I should know!!! I was there with him for the first and ONLY inspection. He had NO IDEA the condition of my things after they were packed by Collins Bros. I would NEVER recommend this co

My wife and I used Collins Brothers for moving and long term storage. Their customer service and attention to detail is the best I've seen. They made our initial and final move so easy. The moving team were prompt, courteous and very accommodating. We will only use Collins Brother from now on. They are the very BEST!!!

Let me just say that I cannot believe that moving.... after accumulating 41 years of "stuff"... could ever be easier than the experienced and professional Team that COLLINS BROTHERS provided us last week. All the men were of great disposition, ready to help in any way possible during the packing, and made us feel completely confident. Every single item arrived in perfect condition...tons and tons of paper to protect every little item from stemware to my musical equipment. Likewise with my computers and flight simulation equipment. I got two quotes... they were not really very far apart. What made it a "no-brainer" for me was the tone and confidence that the estimator, John O'Hara provided. I knew what kind of job I'd be getting.... and I got even more than I could have hoped for. John O'Neil was the Team Leader. Amazing guy. Really set the tone for a perfect move! In the end - I paid exactly what the Estimate called for. HIGHLY RECOMMEND Mark -
