Dogs are allowed at Crate and Barrel as long as they're well-behaved. 2 different dogs were barking at each other and causing a ruckus. They were clearly not well-behaved and the employees did not tell the owners to leave for breaking this rule. I'm disappointed. No one wants to hear loud barking dogs in what's supposed to be a calm, relaxing place to shop for home goods.

Travis needs to be paid more. He did an excellent job handling multiple customers. Went above and beyond and remained extremely courteous when faced with a very rude customer.

i couldn’t wait to register for my bridal shower here….and less than a year later, everythingggggg i got from here has fallen apart, literally after 1-3 uses. absolutely insane. container covers, whisk and spoons, i returned the same product 2 times bc it broke in oven after ONE use, BOTH TIMES and i just gave up, and then more and more things kept falling apart..now i’m at the point of having nothing left in my kitchen that i received as gifts from here and i haven’t even celebrated my first wedding anniversary yet. i’m so upset and disapointed ..i don’t even have the energy to do something about all the items that are actual garbage. and EXPENSIVE

The store staff on the 1st floor are forever busy, you can hardly find anyone available to answer your question. I recommend to go to 2nd floor, plenty smily faces there and ready to help.

Nice store a bit hectic at holiday time. They could use more help but what store can't. They have an inventory of every gadget and then some,Lovely flatware and new updated patterns for place settings. Quite a remarkable store, operations are well they try. Upstairs furniture is primarily contemporary, always lots of interesting things to feel and touch.Marble cheese stones lovely, everything coffee tea and then some. If you don't find it here it most likely doesn't exist. Generally nice staff.

Absolutely the most unprofessional and rudest experience.I ordered an outdoor coach with cushions 2 months ago, received the frame . Cushions still not delivered, 2 months later. Tried to communicate with customer service online as well as the store. I have been promised call backs repeatedly, never happened.The manager of The Manhasset store William/Billy should not be in customer service or a manager. Promised call backs and when I finally got in touch with him, he hung up on me after a very defensive ( on his part ) conversation.Unless your items are in stock, stay away. And stay away from Manhasset!!!The only reason I am giving one star, I am not able to post the review unless I do.

Went to this location today. Didn't buy anything yet BUT i do have to say Ed provides terrific customer service. He did a great job educating us about the different products/fabrics/materials without being pushy like other salespeople.

We ordered a couch and ottoman in February expecting delivery in early April. It has just been delayed until July… we sold our couch in anticipation of the new coaches arrival. That same day crate and barrel told us our order was mixed up and it actually won’t come until early june. That was 1 month ago. We are now being told July!!!! I’ll happily do the math for you - that’s a total of 5 months wait if we get it in July. It was supposed to take 2 months.

I've made several purchases from this store and had good experiences however I made the mistake of purchasing something from them online and that has turned out to be a very poor experience. I purchased a costly dresser that was unavailable in the store. The dresser came and was damaged. I called to have it picked up and exchanged and was offered a discount in exchange for keeping it which I accepted. After about a year the slow close drawers (which they get a premium for) started to not operate properly. For spending 2,000+ I would have expected the craftsman ship to hold up for more than a year.When I called under the assumption they would send someone to fix their defective and poorly crafted product I was told it was a "final sale." This final sale mind you only happened because they sent damaged merchandise. I purchased a full-priced item. I attempted to explain this to the supervisor I spoke to from their online department but the representative kept explaining what final sale means in leagalese language like I was dimwitted and was mute on the fact that it only became a final sale because they sent me damaged furniture. Final sale apparently is a generic term they can use to justify not standing behind their merchandise. Their products are often good but heaven help you if you have a problem with them after the fact. It felt more like a purchase from Wayfair than what I thought was a reputable retailer. Buyer beware!

Extremely unprofessional. Ordered a 4500$ custom couch that came stained in multiple areas. Customer service would not deal with the situation as this was ordered in store. Store would not pick up the phone, the one time they did they asked us to send pics which we did and no response. They’re just scamming people out of their money

I’m a frequent customer of Crate & Barrel and I usually just order online. Unfortunately, I had to call the store in Manhasset, NY for assistance with an exchange. The sales associate, he said his name was Adam, was rude from the start. He picked up the call placing me on hold (which isn’t a problem), once he was able to assist he continued saying “I’m the only one answering phones right now and there’s 9 things on my to-do list, I can’t check on that item for you”. After I told him the website states same day pick-up is available he didn’t even let me finish what I was saying he goes “we don’t carry curtains here” so I told him the website states 2 are available in the store and can be same day pick-up. To begin with, I live 40min away from the store and wanted to verify before I drove that far. Second, I was buying a $350 curtain and I would appreciate as the paying customer to not have a sales associate who obviously hates his job not be rude to me. I told him if I needed to go to the store to receive assistance, and this guy goes when “when you’re in the store I can assist you, but I can’t do it right now, it’s like looking for a needle in a haystack”.
