There is a very distinct "ladies who lunch" vibe going on in this place. That said, I am a lady and I lunch and it all works for me. We ate here twice this week, 2 days in a row as a matter of fact. The first day I ordered the avocado toast which was not exactly what I thought it was when I ordered it but it was simply divine and I truly enjoyed it. My Mom had the chicken salad. It was okay, nothing special. The next day we both had a chicken burger that unfortunately was good except for the chicken burger part of it which was incredibly thin and tasteless. We got free dessert the second day, a frozen yogurt that was distinctly tart and was so unspectacular we both chose not to eat it. While I was waiting for my Mom, I noticed the stuff would not even melt. We got free dessert the first day too, rice pudding. Take my advice, skip the dessert. I want to point out that the service was excellent as well as incredibly friendly. A rare treat in and of itself. Would I go out of my way to eat here, no. But I was most grateful to have this decent place conveniently available to hungry overworked shoppers.

It's no longer Sara Beth and it is upsetting cause it used to be great. I can only say Faye the waitress is the greatest!!!

Worst store to shop in. I would give it no stars if I could. At this time of the year you would they have a bigger staff but it's the opposite! The computer system was also a problem when you could finally get some help. Never again first me. Go to Nordstrom and pay a little more and have people actually helping you.

Sarabeth's, at Lord and Taylor, offers very good quality and healthy and varied options at a reasonable price.

SLOW service and mediocre food. Been here five times only bc it's a convenient place for a group of ladies to meet. Plenty of parking, easy to find, etc. But I am not a fan. I've tried a few different dishes and I've been disappointed with every one of them. The flat breads they give you complimentary are good tho. And the servers are sweet, albeit very talkative and slow.

I've always wanted to try one of the Sarabeth's locations in Manhattan, so I was happy to see that they had a location in Long Island, not too far from me. The restaurant is located on the 3rd floor of the Lord & Taylor in Manhasset. I had their Fat and Fluffy French Toast with Strawberries. It was good, but I was expecting better considering that this is a well-known place for breakfast and brunch. Service also wasn't that good. They're a little pricey too, but I wouldn't have minded if the food was better.

What a perfect tucked away gem! The service was pleasant along with the restaurant's decor. Shop at Lord and Taylor, then relax with a nibble. Located on the 3rd floor, the food was delicious and it's easy to get to by elevator.

Yum! I love to come here with my mom whenever we're in the area. We always order the shopper's special (a drink, half sandwich, side, and dessert for $15). The waiters are nice and attentive, and the food is delicious. The ambiance and menu are a bit different from the ambiance of the Sarabeths in New York City, but that's not a bad thing. It's definitely less crowded here, which is nice! A perfect brunch or lunch on a shopping day!

Came here for brunch on a Monday. The food was excellent. The service was great too. I had the grilled cheese with tomato basil soup. And my mother had the avocado with chicken salad. Instead of refilling your coffee , they gave you a fresh cup. Dessert was also beautifully presented and extremely yummy. There was a perfect flow to the dining experience. Next time, I have the day off and find myself in the area, I'll definitely come back.

Service is a bit slow

Worst chicken salad sandwich I have ever had. My work work cafeteria and local hospital's cafeteria make much better chicken salad. Absolutely flavorless. Chocolate pudding tasted like instant. Good service though.

Food was good but there was a pesky fly throughout my meal. Sandwich was good, but as other reviews said this is just the name, not a real Sarabeths. Save your money and go to NYC for an authentic Sarabeths!

Oh Sarabeth, Sarabeth... Had great expectations based on some of the reviews. I ordered the white and green, it was ok, but they could do a better job. Basically, everything in there is dated. A celebration of the golden 80s. it does feel like you're at a hotel continental breakfast at times. Things look cheap, plastic containers for jams and condiments, ketchup with your eggs, butter squares in wrapping... Food was ok, normal diner food (although I've had better at some diners), service was regular too.

Today was my first time at this location. I've been to the one in the city before. My sister and I arrived there around 11:30 and it was quite empty. Quickly tho is started to fill up. We decided to order the French toast which comes with strawberries, butter and syrup. It was fluffy and delicious. We also shared the Popeyes eggs. Which is eggs ham and spinach on an English muffin. We were not crazy about the English muffin but the eggs were delicious. Next time we will get extra spinach no muffin. We had the pleasure of being waited on by Marie. She was very pleasant and offered advice. She told us we could order the French toast as a special which came with coffee and a dessert. Coffee was also very good. Marie also moved the table next to us over so we had more room since we were sharing and had extra plates. She was very attentive and friendly! Hopefully she is working next time we go; which is looking like next week =)

Absolutely terrible. Located on the second level of a Lord and Taylor accessible only by elevator, it was pretty difficult to find. Pastries were very stale and the food was microwave quality. Ended up paying way too much for a stomach ache. Manhattan locations are a completely different experience.

I was really surprised at the food in this location. It definitely does not live up to the standards in the Manhattan locations. I ordered the Goldie Lox (which included scrambled eggs and lox) and the lox was close to non existent in the dish. I felt as if I was eating scrambled eggs and ham instead. It was also fairly empty when my friends and I came to eat. Definitely not worth the price we paid for and will be making the extra trip to go to the location in Manhattan in the future.

Sarabeth would be appalled by the food at this location. I have been to Sarabeth's dozens of times in Manhattan and the food does not compare. The pancakes have no taste whatsoever and come out burnt. The French toast is made with cheap white bread and has a strange taste and it also burnt. The scrambled eggs are swimming in oil. The green and white eggs do not have any white aka cream cheese. The service is terrible. Do not waste your money here.

A great lunch break while shopping. The food is simple and well done. Mostly women, but great food for everyone. I love the chocolate soufle for desserts, the soups are also usually very good. Great portion sizes, very good service.

A skeleton Sarabeth. No one has done anything to make this place look lively or interesting. The buck stops with a Sarabeth sign. The lemon Ricotta pancakes were outstanding. The bill was high. If they would give this restaurant some atmosphere I would give it another star.

Cute, quaint, and friendly staff. The food selection is limited but they do a great job on those items on their menu. My go to meal is the avocado and smoked mozzarella sandwich with a side of Cesar salad.

Such a cute lunch spot! First time eating here (even though I'm always at Lord & Taylor). Very cute set up and good amount of options on the menu. I tried the Mini Tea Sandwiches which were delicious. They're great if you want a little variety and can't make a decision. It comes with 3 mini sandwiches. 1st was an amazing biscuit with I believe it was raspberry cream cheese, the 2nd was a chicken salad wrap and the 3rd was tuna salad on another delicious biscuit (The mini sandwiches are only like 3 bites each). My meal also came with either a soup or a salad so I tried the soup of the day which was the Creamy Asparagus Soup and it was really good. To top the meal off it even came with a dessert and I chose the frozen yogurt. Definitely recommend!

This is a "ladies who lunch" kind of place. It is a subdued, comfortable place for ladies to meet and eat. Breakfast food all day and yummy croissants and jam is recommended. Even if you aren't shopping in Lord & Taylor, go to Sarabeth's and relax from the frenzy of life. It was my first time there and I would love to go back.

I've never heard of Sarabeth's before, but it seems they offer pretty standard American comfort food - soups, sandwiches, breakfast dishes, and salads. nothing inoffensive or too "out there", which is both good and bad in my opinion. the tomato soup was fantastic. I don't know where my newfound love of tomato soup came from, but the bowl I got here was excellent. creamy and flavorful, it certainly didn't taste like generic Campbell's or something like that. the crispy flatbreads they provided at the table went well with this. the roasted vegetable panini was alright. the veggies were a little mushy, the bread wasn't too special, and the sandwich would've fallen apart if not for the perfectly melted cheese. the pound cake was...eh. it was soft, but didn't really taste like much. then again, does pound cake ever really taste like much to begin with? thankfully, I acquired a scoop of soft-serve vanilla ice cream to improve it. service was excellent, and I see they offer a variety of jams and jellies to buy. I'm rarely out in this area, but it served to quell my raging stomach.
