Recently, I had to have a vehicle winched out of a ditch and towed less than two miles. Total cost $540. Ouch!.I should have asked for an estimate unfortunately I made the mistake of taking who the Troopers called. I feel like I was held up by a robber. They accomplished what was needed but definitely a Very Unreasonable fee for the service provided. My recommendation is if this happens to you get someone you know and don't trust anyone. If JR's shows up tell them no thanks or hold on to your wallet!

Called and he said he was busy so I made an appointment for an inspection the next Monday morning at 9am. New to the area and never been to Morrisonville, so I was 5 minutes late. But I sat with another older man who was also waiting for about ten minutes until the owner finally came to the shop. He was talking quietly with the other two workers and then walked up to me and said sorry but you were just too late and I have people ahead of you, you will have to reschedule or come back tomorrow. The older man who was waiting yelled out I can come back another time and the owner ignored him, so obviously he did not have an appointment. It also looked very sloppy, many cars, lawnmowers and other things half apart laying around.. We called A+A auto in Champlain he said stop right in and I’ll get your inspection done! I would not recommend J+R’s Auto Repair. We were not 30 minutes late!?? Our appointment was at 9 am when they open and he was no where to be found both mechanics were looking for him! So we waited an extra almost 15 minutes for that. And it's not just vehicles laying around it's many lawnmowers half fixed and parts laying around the owner didn't think I would leave a review so know he's spitting lies,,,, hunny everyone gets reviewed from me and I always tell the truth!

Brought my car in and I couldn't ask for a better and cheaper price if you need anything done with your car Skip the rest and go with the best JRs auto repair

JR is the most down to earth person you could meet. I feel confident when I bring my car in that he will take care of things for a reasonable price. He is a straight shooter and is willing to talk you through things. Great guy amazing shop!

JR is one amazing guy. Thanks JR for rescuing us when we got a flat tire on the Northway. You went above and beyond to try and help us fix the tire. We would not have made it back home safely without your help.
