Terrible I asked for one color and they bleached my hair not knowing what they were doing at all then when it came out they knew it didnt look right, came back the next day for a refund and they said and kept saying to bleach it again to make it lighter mind you it hasnt even been 24 hours why would i bleach my hair again for it to fall off? they left my hair three different colors and wanted me to pay $270 for that and ended up leaving paying $0. do NOT come here for coloring

I got a blowout with a cut and it was absolutely amazing! My hair looked and felt incredible, so smooth, bouncy, and styled perfectly. I’ve been to some of the most well known blowout salons in NYC and honestly this experience was even better. The stylist took their time, listened to what I wanted, and delivered exactly that. I left feeling super confident.
Highly recommend! this place is a hidden gem!

Great service. The staff are knowledgeable about my hair type and deliver what I ask for.
Best scalp massage when shampooing. I am a busy person always on the run and If it wasn’t for the salon open til late I wouldn’t be able to get my hair done.

I had a great first experience at this salon with Jimmy. I was hoping to schedule an apt but I was offered on the spot service. He gave me great guidance on what to do about my color and cut to get my hair back in shape. Truly happy with the outcome and overall service. Will visit again in two weeks and bring my 10 yr old as well.

Great hair wash scalp massages. I have very dryish thick long curly hair. I come here to blow out my hair. J Hollywood gets in don in an hour and 20 minutes verses 6 hours at the Dominican salons. Quick clean hair scalp massages blowouts gray touch up's i go to J Hollywood. The only thing I didn't like I believed at one point they charged me more because of the texture and thickness of my hair. In other words my genetics. I didn't know salons did that it was the first for me. And they use a brush to comb through my wet hair which I believe breaks it. So I make sure my hair is detangled before I go. As a hair care and consult place not so good. As a hair styling place pretty ok

J Hollywood Salon is the BEST! First, the young woman at the front is super welcoming and knowledgeable about hair! She provided me with a thorough hair consultation because I wasn’t sure what I wanted. She helped me make a great decision and she was kind and really supportive. Then a wonderfully skillful stylist gave me the stylish, chic, and feminine short cut I wanted. It is perfection! I was so pleased and happy! I’m picky about salons, but now I’m so happy to have found one I can return to again and again. They’re great.
