I came in after my Nomos ref. 765 stopped working. Michael diagnosed a broken balance wheel and sourced the specific (proprietary) part. The watch works better than ever, and the repair was done quickly, considering that he likely had to ship the part from Germany. I highly recommend him.

I brought a pair of pink freshwater pearl earrings in to them because I had lost the pearl on one of them. They couldn't find a pink pearl so they replaced it with a white one. In their favor they didn't charge me for it but I am not happy at all.

After breaking the glass face of an antique watch we brought it to 84st for repair. They were friendly quick and did a great job restoring it. We’ll be coming back with our other timepieces soon. Highly recommend.

I gave my Accuton automatic watch to Michael for a total rebuild. The watch wasn't keeping good time along with stopping at night even with an automatic watch winder. I wanted to wait several weeks before posting a review to be sure to provide details. Basically Michael did an awesome job for the money along with providing a 1.5 year warranty on his work. My watch is running better then ever even compared to when it was brand new. Even when new, I always had to tweak the tune every morning due to the watch being a little slow over 24 hours. Now I don't have to tweak the time at all. It keeps perfect time compared to my smart phone. It is always the exact amount of seconds compared to my phone, not faster or slower but perfectly keeping the correct time. He mentioned a lot of corrosion inside that was removed along with the rebuild to replace needed parts plus a new gasket.
I always thought an automatic watch wouldn't keep exact time compared to watches that require a battery but no more. Now my watch keeps perfect time. I had my watch repaired a couple years ago through a jewelry store. The watch was repaired but the time was still a little slow requiring me to tweak the time once a day. Michael's work was better than a jewelry store with better pricing and warranty.
I highly recommend his work!!!

The man was not gentle and did not respond nicely over the phone. He gave me instructions to the shops whereabouts because he moved a while back and his old workspace was not taken off google maps nor taken off of the label. He was unkind giving me instructions and didn’t even have my parts. He thought my watch was broken and sent me to another one. The new guy, just a block down, told me that it wasn’t broken, and just needed a missing wire. This man does not have a variety of working types and works with specific companies. The fact that he thought my watch was broken is a major component in which I criticize heavily

I brought my Chopard quartz for a battery change. The first guy who took the watch didn’t know how to open the case. A second guy opened the case and then the first guy tried to replace the battery. He was putting the battery in upside down (I found out later) and was pressing so hard to make it fit that he bent the face of the watch and ruined it. I wouldn’t trust these dopes with a Timex or a Swatch. They are the worst and have no clue how to replace a watch battery much less repair watch. Take my advice and stay away.

I brought in two Omega chronographs, both of which required extensive cleaning; neither of which were running. Michael was fantastic to work with. He quickly quoted the watches in about one day and completed the work on both timepieces within two weeks. He shared pictures of the open watch which showed widespread corrosion and kept me updated along the way. When I picked up the watches there was one small smudge on an index and he had that touched up in two days.Turn around time is amazing, quality of the work is fantastic, the price for servicing can't be beat. I was skeptical to drop off my watches here because I had only considered servicing through Omega, but now I would never consider servicing my Omegas anywhere else.Thank you Michael and team for the quick, high quality work and great customer service. For anyone on the fence, I recommend you give their business a chance. It's really nice to have working watches :)
