589 5th Ave, New York“NAZMIYAL is the best source for antique and vintage rugs and carpets. Staff is extremely knowledgeable, Jason himself is an amazing dealer who handpicks each and every piece in his stunning collection and is happy to educate the consumer, not just make a sale. I always trust his experience and great eye for all my spaces!”
“The Missing Link is a gem in NYC. I went in to find cufflinks and a stud set as accessories on a tuxedo for my wedding; the collection was incredible and I found the perfect, unique pieces. I had been to several department stores where the selection was lacking, but not here at The Missing Link. The experience was enhanced by Michael who was engaging, patient, and courteous. Highly recommend.”
“There is something adorable about a shop that specializes in incongruous antiques such as vintage smoking items, lighters, and ashtrays as well as vintage games and candy.Named after the owner's dog this little shop is mighty. You may not realize what you need from this shop but if not a Dunhill lighter perhaps the Mad Magazine board game? Perhaps just a snack of some vintage candy and a Bazooka gum-flavored soda. You won’t know until less you go. So just walk in, this shop doesn’t disappoint”
11AM - 7:30PM
16 E 17th St, New York“WowBeen ages since I was last here and the place is as I remembered- super friendly and helpful staff. The “technician” restrung my beads (that kept breaking) on the spot for less than $10! And what an improvement given the various choices she offered . And with a guarantee to come back if it fails/falls off.Def will be back with other beads in my vast collection. Go here first and only!!”
“After finding this store online several years ago, and talking cross-country to Jimmy several times - it was such a joy to come and spend an hour or more looking at and trying multiple pens my husband and I were considering. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly - it felt like an hour spent with friends! We bought several items for ourselves and at least one gift!”
“Incredibly special place. The kindest family ever has been running this shop for many generations. One of the family members talked to me about the history of the shop and his family and it was such an honor to hear their story.”

445 Park Ave #1, New York“Love love love this store, everything is beautiful and I want to take a million things home every time I go. I try to visit whenever I go to NY. I have bought gorgeous sterling Tiffany frames, and a beautiful glass vase with silver overlay which makes me smile whenever I look at it. The salespeople are lovely as well. The prices are not inexpensive, but the merchandise is beautiful, and they will work with you a little bit, especially if you are purchasing more than one item. I absolutely recommend stopping here when you are in the area!”
“Was looking to sell a couple of pieces. Went to their website and sent an email for a quote. No response. I called the office. They gave me a number to text photos and I did so. No response. I sent a follow up text the next day. No response. I waited two additional days and still no response.I can understand if you’re not interested in buying, but at least have the courtesy of giving me a reply. To ignore me like this is completely unprofessional. I don’t see how they can offer same day evaluations when I can’t even get a callback.Edit: Adam called me after the review and we were able to work something out. Thanks for getting back to me.”

240 W 10th St, New York“What a find! How I never noticed this gem on 10th street before is a nagging question for me, but all wrongs have been righted and I know I’ll be shopping here for years to come. So many fabulous finds! I found a perfect string of peaks with warm luster and a vintage black slip/nightgown and I adore both. I want to go back when I have more time to dig through the vintage handbags, knits and scarves. The space is small, but is packed to the brim with fabulous finds. The Madame has a discerning eye and there’s no junk amongst the treasures.More importantly, drop in for community! The customers attracted to this special spot were warm and friendly. Great conversations and connection happened. This isn’t just vintage shopping; it’s an experience. Can’t wait to go back”

“Our experience at Persian Gallery was excellent throughout the entire rug shopping and purchasing process. My husband and I compared the inventories of various rug stores in NYC and concluded that they were the best venue in which to find rugs we needed for our house and apartment. Before going to the showroom we had sent the item numbers of the rugs that interested us so that they had them ready for us to review. Rodney Hakim is incredibly knowledgeable about the history and aesthetics of these rugs and greatly facilitated our decision-making process. He also accommodated us in terms of delivery and rug pads. The purchase of a high quality Persian rug is similar to buying art and the purchaser needs to trust the vendor, and we always felt quite confident about conducting business with Rodney at the Persian Gallery. The excellence of their merchandise and the professionalism they demonstrated earned our trust.”
