Came here on a Thursday and there was a cool beer selling competition going on between two differing brewing companies! They have really cool games and the place has a relaxed atmosphere. Very LGBTQ+ friendly, down to earth, no frills place that gave off really good vibes. I’d recommend to anybody! (And I don’t even like beer)

Dog friendly bar and you can bring your own food! Amazing place to hang out and play with dogs or watch the game. Lots of local beers on tap.

Great selection of beer and cider, good atmosphere, dog friendly bar as long as your pup is socialized, they even have a Nintendo Switch (Mario Kart, SSB, Mario Party, etc.) available and a few screens if you want to watch ESPN or whatever. Good local bar for beer geeks or geeks in general ??Note: No Coors or Bud or other assorted piss water beers ☝?

Best craft beer bar in NY! Mecca for beer aficionados. Incredible local and internal options that are out of this world. I come here for the selection and the bartenders’ amazing recommendations. I’m not a big beer drinker, so I always go for the SUNBOY spiked coconut water.

The guy with glasses was so so rude and snobby. I just asked his recommendation on which beer to get as if you like anything that isn’t from a microbrewery you ARE NOT welcome. He made myself, my partner and her female friend extremely uncomfortable. There was no need to be that rude, he basically forced my friend into buying something when she hadn’t even decided then was very disrespectful when it came to pay. I love bars that support independent breweries and brands we go to a lot but the snobby attitude gives them a bad name. Shame

Big burley guy at the bar is violant and disturbed. Id been here before and seemed nice but today ii just went in to use the restroom because it was an emergency and it was the closest place to me. I thanked him on the way out and he told me if I ever did that again he would chase me out with a baseball bat..... Ok.....I don't understand why he took my BM so personally. . This is why new yorkers ar seen as rude and nasty . . No where else in the civilized world is that acceptable behavior to threaten a patron and of all reasons for using a restroom? Get over yourself . I was so shocked I didn't even know how to respond . I thought he was going to shake me up for the few bucks I had on me when he was going on and on how I should "throw some bucks to the bar" for using his previous bathroom. Unbelievable.

Absolutely must go to this spot when you’re in east village. Tons of really unique and interesting beers such as jalapeño ale, pickle juice sour, and local small drafts from NY breweries. Brian is an excellent bartender and entertainer. He made us feel extremely welcomed and offered for us to play Mario kart and a fun guessing game. Can’t recommend this place enough!

Cool environment with nice music. The ciders were nothing special but still hit the spot.

Great neighborhood bar with a low key vibe. Nice draft beer selection and playlist was on point. I wish the video games were working but it kept erroring out. Will definitely drop in if I’m in need of a nice casual spot with friends.

We wanted to try a place in East Village where we could sample local craft beers. Just wanted beer! The service was great with a very informative bartender. The place is nothing fancy but we were not looking for fancy - just beer! I don't think we ended up with local beers but the bartender let us try a few sips of several to figure out what we both wanted.Happy with our experience. It's a great place for a stop!

Late review...but I visited d.b.a a few weeks ago. My first trip to NYC, and this is definitely one of my favorite spots! The beer selection was INCREDIBLE, and the bartender even hooked my friend and I up with a flight to share. Both draft and can options were seriously impressive, especially the fruity/sour ales. Music and overall vibe were also fantastic--again, the amazing staff connected Mario Kart to the TV while my friend and I sipped some of the best craft beer I had in the city. Even got to try my first pickleback shot...cannot recommend this place enough!
