543 9th Ave, New York“I had searched for Greek Feta Cheese (Dedonia) and this was the ONLY place in all of Manhattan that had it. They have the freshest foods. The three guys who work there are excellent in service and knowledge. They have all been there for the over 20 years I have been going there. I am so grateful I found this place. THE BEST.”
8AM - 9PM
233 Spring St, New York“We were taking a bus home just around the corner from this location today, so it was a great opportunity to buy as much as we could carry. When we entered the store and got a cart, we asked a nearby employee for the location of a certain item and she immediately asked if we wanted her to bring us there (we thanked her and said it wasn't necessary, but certainly that was very gracious of her). Also; the cashier was *incredibly* friendly, she had a wonderful sense of humor and she was wearing a terrific Christmas costume.”
“The food is good the place is clean and for the most part the employees are friendly but you will find one or the two of the employees Miserable human beings, when you bring something to their attention they act like you are bothering them.”
“If you are British or an Anglophile missing a pork pie, a meat pie, a bag of walkers cheese and onion, a cadburys egg.... Crackers for Xmas or so much more, here it is. The pork pies are killer!”

88 Essex St, New York“It was my go-to food market, especially the Dragon Bing has a very refreshing Lychee Tea and Crispy Chicken Bing, the owners of Dragon Bing were really friendly! At the other stand "Don Ceviche" we tried Combo Lima which was Chicken served with fries and Avocado.”
“Found this nice place like last month but decided to review my experience now haha. This place is great and is closer to me. Im glad I dont have to go to Flushing anymore to get my groceries. The place was spacious and clean and well organized. The service was good as well , the people knew what they were doing. Many nice things there and I picked up everything I wanted. Def an amazing addition in the area.”

405 E 59th St, New York“Spacious location in Midtown East / borderline UES! Fairly new. Overall, the staff is friendly and nice. Would of course recommend going at non-peak times. I'm grateful this is my local neighborhood location!”
8AM - 10PM
114 E 1st St, New York“Diminutive space with down-at-heel appearance —but the urban decay is part of the charm. The samosa and aloo tikki were good. Both are potato heavy but herb seasoning is present and noted and flavorful. They’re large, hot and filling. Great option for cheap filling hot snack if you have cash. $3/ each. Cash only. The English spoken here is barebones strictly transactional English.Vegetarian options: Pretty sure everything here is vegetarian.”
9AM - 10PM
498 6th Ave, New York“I really like this place for a quick bite. I love the onigiri, and sometimes will pick up a soup. They have an $8 card minimum so I try to always purchase in cash.”
“We needed catering for a lunch after a funeral mass. I'm from out of state, so I had to coordinate and order over the phone. They were WONDERFUL to deal with from beginning to end. Excellent communication, very reasonable prices, great food, and on time delivery. If you need your local event catered, I highly recommend them!Vegetarian options: Catered sandwiches included gluten-free and vegetarian options for our guests.”

“This is my go to deli for breakfast and lunch. The workers are very polite friendly and funny. They treat customers with respect. The price on food and merchandise is not bad for today's prices. Bagels are always fresh as is the coffee. I love their oatmeal ? and they cook food from soup of the day Sea food and chicken noodle are very tasty. Can get rice baked or fried chicken or bake ziti oxtails they have varieties and it's all very good and can cost from small &6 to $7 large &8 and more. If you happen to be in the area stop by and guarantee you will be satisfied.”
10AM - 12AM
215 Avenue A, New York“Probably the best burrito in Manhattan and compared to what’s in SLC. We were visiting from SLC and came across this Mexican market. I wouldn’t say this is a full experience restaurant but a market with a handful of tables where you can enjoy the best burritos out there. Service was excellent. Very accommodating to our 4 people family. They even brought us some sweet bread on the house. Just amazing.”
“Best pumpkin pies! Best olive oil! Fresh fruits and veggies, best chicken parm sandwich on a roll! I have been going to Mani Market for years. Taki is so welcoming and helpful! They go above and beyond for their clients!”
“If you live in the neighborhood who needs Broadway when this local supermarket has just about everything....and some things that you never thought you needed. The best part about this supermarket is that it's got its own little butcher shop in the back where they will clean up your meats and cut to any specified desire.I feel like the meats are way fresher than what is available on Broadway in most cases. The supermarket is family owned and operated and I have been visiting them for years!”

2135 1st Ave., New York“Great service - order at the front, cook handles the sandwich in the back. Neighborhood deli that apparently made the OG chopped cheese. It's a bit less cheesy than I thought, but it's very juicy. Love that its panini pressed? Be prepared and grab paper napkins.”

94 Avenue B, New York“So I am not a local New Yorker but I often come up from DC to visit. My main goal when visiting New York however is discovering and devouring delicious food. That being said, my friends and I spent a long weekend in East Village partying it up till 6am each night! I still can't believe we did that. But in the midst of our late night partying, we would stop to refuel by grabbing a deli sandwich at this small bodega. You walk in and there is a wall full of colorful signs describing multiple types of sandwiches you can order. All looked spectacular but on the first night I ordered "The Biden". All the ingredients spoke to me and man what a sandwich! The flavor explosion was incredible with sun dried tomatoes and avocado on a croissant. I forget what my buddies got but they were raving about them too. The next night I got a meatball sub with grilled onions and once again I was in Heaven. We all were. So please keep this small business going strong and check out their sandwiches. All across their walls they have photos with celebrities so clearly they are popular. Thank you Sunny and Annie! Your food was one of the best highlights of our trip.”
“Murray’s has the most impressive cheese selection in Manhattan and very knowledgeable staff members. I recommend the Selles Sur Cher (round blue rind), Brilliat Savarin (liquidy), Creme de Bourgogne (one of their absolute best), Brebirousse D’Argental (orange rind), the Kunik Nettle Meadow Farm (bottom right; brie with a goat center), and Challehocker (a richer gouda).”

“Incredible selection of produce and top-shelf prepared foods. And not in an overwhelming way!Prices are high - maybe 25% to 50% higher than they need to be. Helps that the staff are friendly and the hours are convenient.”
“Went here with my sisters shortly after arriving in NY. The 2 chaps serving us were so friendly and seemed quite entertained by our English accents. They were superbly patient with our indecisiveness and our excitement at being together in NY for the first time together”

436 E 14th St, New York“We were just a few blocks from here this morning, so it was a good chance to pick up several items. 8AM - 9PM
2073 Broadway, New York“This place is great. I usually come here for my weekly shopping visits. Most of the stuff sold by Trader joe's is store brand, but it's a very good quality. Prices are also pretty reasonable considering where the stores are located.”
“Service is quick and straightforward. Servers always welcoming and friendly. I come all the way downtown to get this soft serve which is the BEST VEGAN SOFT SERVE by far I've tried around. They have the vanilla flavor often and a seasonal flavor. You can ask it swirl if you like. Can't never go run with this Ice cream. There's available sitting indoors and outdoors for anyone's preferences. The ambience indoor is mellow and nice background music always playing. Definitely give it a try!!!”
