ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. KENNETH NEELY AKA "THE MANAGER" YELLED AT ME, MY MOM, AND MY GRANDMOTHERThis was my first and only experience I have with Enterprise. I had made a reservation for 9/7/2023 approx. 2 months ago for 8:30 AM that day. My party (my 60 y/o mom and 80 y/o grandma) and I arrived on time. Upon arrival Kenneth Neely (the manager) told us that our reserved car wasn't there yet as the original car for our reservation was returned damaged. He said we could wait for the Audi coming from a different location or we could pay more money for a larger car. I asked how long the wait would be and he said ~ 10 minutes, we agreed that if it was only going to be a few minutes that we could wait. About 10-15 minutes later he said okay great your Cadillac is on it's way should be here in 15 minutes. I asked why the type of car was changing and why it was taking so long. He began to get irritated and said that we could go elsewhere if we'd like. We said no that we were confused why such a large company doesn't have plans in place for when cars are returned damaged or not on time for the next reservation. After about another 10-15 minutes he said okay your car is here but it's going to be a few more minutes we need to wash it now. He knew we were on a time crunch as we were trying to return the car same day (by 7:00PM and our round trip drive time was going to be 7-8 hours, it was 9:00AM at this point). I again asked why this was happening and why we were not notified there was going to be such a delay. He began raising his voice at me saying "you're not understanding what I am telling you" I responded that I did indeed understand the series of events but was confused as to why there was no notification, plan B, etc. At this point he was essentially yelling at me and my family that we weren't understanding and he was no longer renting a car to me. I asked for his name and card and said I would like to call customer service to remedy the situation he handed me his card and responded with "I have the final call on who gets a car and I'm not renting to you if you want to call you can get out" and proceeded to request us to leave the location. We did. I have been calling Enterprise Customer Service everyday since the incident with the representatives stating notifications were being sent to the area manager and district manager and someone will be in contact with me, I've heard NOTHING.He absolutely ruined a surprise trip I had planned for my grandma who finally retired. We were planning to go to Rhode Island to visit her first home she shared with my grandpa and to visit her daughter's grave that she lost at birth. My grandma hadn't been to the grave since the death almost 60 years ago. Kenneth is a mean nasty man and I would suggest you go ANYWHERE else to rent a car. He deserves no one's business.

I had a great experience renting from 48th and 11av. In manhattan. The staff at the location were really friendly and completely took care of me. I highly recommend going there. Dee was even able to upgrade me for a minimal charge. The car drove great! I'll be back.

Regarding follow up response from Enterprise corporate (they seemed to be concerned): I sent all information requested to Chad via the email and to date I have not received a follow up. Poor Customer Service Enterprise Rent-A-Car!

Excellent customer service, very little wait time, staff was helpful and clear with instructions. I would go here again for a car if needed.

I rented a 12 passenger van from this location ) weeks in advance. On the day the van is supposed to be picked up at the location, at 8:30am I received a phone call telling me there was an issue and they did not have a passenger van. I was meant to pick up the vehicle at 10:30am. So with two hours notice the notify me of the issue despite there having been 6 weeks before that to inform me of an issue. I informed them that offering me two vehicles as an alternative was not going to work since there is only one driver. I said another location must have one, I am willing to pick it up from another location. I was told first that enterprise no longer rents passenger vans. I said that can't be true I see them on your website as we speak. I was then told that a new law in New York State prevented them from being able to rent passenger vans. I called b******* on that too. I was being very reasonable even offering to pick up the vehicle from Newark airport where I can see on the website that the vehicle was available. It would have been an inconvenience for me but it was a solution that I was agreeable to. All they have to do is make a phone call and transfer the location to the Newark location. I was told they were too busy and could not do that. I would have to call myself and make a new reservation at a much higher last minute booking price. When I told them this wasn't acceptable I needed to speak to a supervisor I was put on hold for 30 minutes and then hung up on. When I called enterprises customer service line I was informed that there was nothing they could do. Only the original location can make the request to transfer the reservation. When I told them that the original enterprise location refused to do anything because they were "too busy", I was told pretty much too bad. There was nothing enterprise as a company could do. More accurately there was nothing they were willing to do. I pretty much exclusively rent vehicles from enterprise. That was until today. Never again. Especially never again from this location. Rude, lazy, inconsiderate, and apathetic are just a few adjectives I would use to describe the people who work here. As a result I had to book a vehicle last minute from a different vendor at a higher last minute booking price. Thanks enterprise you really seem to care about customers.

This has been one of the best rental car experience for me. The staff is easy going and respectful, especially the manager of the branch. He upgraded me from a small to an SUV for no additional charge. Their process is very efficient. It took me about 15 minutes just to het my car. The gentlemen are all honest hardworking people. No pitch sales on car rental insurance that most others companies have. Very recommendable place....archie O

The manager ato was very helpful in helping us find a car when they were non left. We were driven to another enterprise to make sure we were taken car of, I would recommend this location for their customer service. Thanks guys

This is the first yelp review I have ever written, but the service was exceptional at Enterprise on 667 11th Avenue, that I wanted to take the time out to praise their amazing customer service. My car had been hit twice in the last 9 months and I have rented from this location each time. Each time, I was put in a very luxurious car, that was a pleasure to drive and took the edge off the entire repair/rent experience for me. Farhan Chichgar was kind enough during my latest rental in April, to drive me to another Enterprise location in midtown, in order to put me in a Cadillac SUV. It was so nice, he was lovely to work with, and I felt like the service was incredible. There was no wait time and my time was not wasted. I must reiterate, Enterprise on 11th Avenue and Farhan both turned what should have/could have been a negative experience into a positive one. Thank you very much, you have lovely employees who go the extra mile to make sure their clients happy.

11th Ave location where Farhan Chichgar and Luis Almanzar work did an excellent job getting my husband and I a car to take to RI for business during the crazy heavy rain last month April 2018. No challenges with the car getting through the heavy rain and deep puddles along the way. 11th ave Enterprise location was perfect since we were a block away at the Kimpton Ink. The car was clean and ready for us as expected. Fast and courteous from start to finish. Farhan followed up via phone call when we dropped the car off at the airport in RI to make sure the charges were correct as well. Mahalo!
