“Wow!! This is a kosher grocery story and I was thoroughly impressed by all that they offer! From sandwiches to hummus to sushi to Chinese food, this is a great local store. I throughly enjoyed my chalatim sandwich. It was pricey but it fed me for two meals and it was absolutely delicious! I highly recommend you check this place out!”

“Great local deli/convenience store. Has pretty much all you need (toiletries, food, random household stuff) plus the guys are friendly and welcoming!
Only thing I’d change is a better snack selection, but I mostly come here for food so it’s no big deal.”

“I am so blessed to live half a block away from this CTown. I am able to get every last essential in my life at this place and every time I badly needed CTown to have in stock some new particular item, it's there. For those who observe, I will mention (to my own likely regret) that CTown does even have Almond Kisses before Passover, but they go quick! What is most impressive to me about CTown, however, is how so many high quality people who shuttle inventory, stock shelves, run the cashier, serve deli, oversee the self-checkout and run the on-the-floor operations themselves have managed to come through this store. I consider it a great fortune as someone who wound up living on the next block, and to be honest, CTown in fact almost feels like a part of my own home when I'm here. Thanks for all the great years!”
“You know! It's whole food. I pick up lu ch al.ost every day. I can choose from. Hot food or cold from the food buffet. I love the 1/2 price items- great for dinner or lunch the next day. If you have a prime account, you can get deals on Tuesday and Fridays.”

“Convenient for Upper West Side residents when you just can't face the maze and the scrum at Fairway. Pleasantly sanely organized. Stick to the shelf-stable stuff; the repackaged snacks turned out to stale and rancid. I haven't tried the produce, so can't speak to that.”

“This supermarket is absolutely legendary. They have everything, literally. They even have Vichy Catalan, which is like some described as the best water in the world. The selection of fresh food is outstanding, better than would be at Whole Foods for example.”

“Always so kind and helpful. In the late fall I was looking for Christmas lights, because I put up my tree a bit early in the season. They didn’t have their stock out yet, but went into the back to find me a couple of boxes and even tested them to ensure they worked correctly. What a gem!”

“Be aware, it's called a meat market but it's more like a grocery store with a large meat section. I'm taking a star off because I am not crazy about the table set up outside as an improvised deli with meals ready to be served but also exposed to the elements. But I love the walk in meat freezer and the prices are better than the extortionists across the street. The selection is smaller and the shelves are high (for a shorty like me) but the deals and the friendly staff make it worth while.”

“I bought a butter here and didn’t realize it was expired by more than a month. So you may want to be mindful with checking expiration dates. I exchanged my butter with no problem and the cashier was kind.”

“Great prices, but in a messy chaotic store where there are empty boxes lying around the aisle floors and everywhere and the lines are very long. They run out of things quickly.”
“Other supermarkets are much closer to me, but don’t have the brand names I prefer. I eat and buy little meats, but when I do I to get my meats here. Prices have gone up all over. I don’t mind paying more for something I like or for brands I cannot find in the other stores. My only complaint is all supermarkets keep their produce section to cold. Exam: cucumbers, like cutting ice cubes.”

“Amazing vegan products and friendly service will definitely be back. I made a nice meal with the frozen mock meat and sauce with rice; extremely tasty. I made my vegan omelet with just eggs and the rice dish for a super delicious lunch. The kind lady working there was so helpful with recommendations and cooking instructions. The store is going to hold a food sampling event/celebration on February 7th 12pm-4pm they highly recommended I check out. I’ll definitely be back to buy more delicious ingredients, great shopping experience.”
