Whole Foods at this location in Chelsea is convenient when I visit my daughter at her office. I typically buy items that are not frozen because it's a long trip home. Their 365 brand is the best price and I like the quality and taste. This week my daughter stopped in here during her lunch break. She has a refrigerator and freezer in her office employee lounge. She knew I needed Kale so she picked up two bags for me to bring home after work. I'm glad I have a helpful child and helpful friends in Winter! 365 Frozen Kale is $2.69 a bag. I'm recommending Whole Foods and this location is as good as the rest.

The store has been consistent in layout and appearance throughout the years. However, it never feels stale.

Every time I enter Whole Foods, I'm aware of more and more items being downsized from 16 oz. to 12 oz. at the same price or maybe $1 less. Today it was their 365 brand of smoked salmon. I'm saving a lot of money by walking out with less products in my basket. Their salad bar at $13.99/pound is filled with frozen vegetables -- nice price gouging, WF!

The manager of Whole Foods in Brooklyn on 3rd Avenue is a real piece of work. His name is Mark. Refuses to give his full name. He is rude, insults the customers. I really hope someone takes action against him. Had the worst experience there waiting for my groceries for 30 mins and then getting shouted at

I am allergic to soy and wheat. I went to a manager at the Whole Foods in Vauxhall, NJ today at 12.30. I asked for help looking for gluten free lentils. The manager has already had to help me twice in the past few months as I am allergic to soy and wheat and they mislabeled a prepared food item with allergens I can't eat. I luckily did not have a terrible reaction as I only had a bite before I realized it was mislabeled. Today, the manager told me that lentils processed in a facility also processing wheat is ok for celiacs and that most cross contamination is " totally normal". That's not true. He also said labels saying items may be contaminated with : soy, wheat, tree nuts is ok if a person is celiac. That's not true and people can get really sick. ShopRite, Stop and Shop and Traders Joe's all have more informed staff, better trained and nicer employees. I can't safely shop there and I think it's important to realize While Foods has completely stopped worrying about hygiene and allergens. I will be using Thrive and Stop and Shop.

Make sure you check the sell-by dates, because their staff sure doesn't. Last week I purchased New England clam chowder and it was two days past the sell-by date. Thompson grapes I purchased the same day were largely spoiled on the bottom where you couldn't see them. I'm done with this store.

Samantha at Customer Service is the best.Edit: the chicken salad sandwich has a best by date of tomorrow, a good date, but the bread is old and it crumbled on my fingers (pictures). So 2 stars less.

Was a nice store. Most of the smells were enticing and the food looked mostly good. It's a little tight moving around and I cannot give my usual 5 stars for a place like this. I might have looked slightly out of place for this particular community, my being in bikepacking clothes after a long multi-state tour and just a little on the scruffy side. In retrospect, the security did seem to be watching me pretty closely as I searched the aisles for food to bring on the trainride which I could afford. I think when I paid I did not actually set the juice down on the bagging area of the register. Was met with a lady security officer who greeted me by saying,"You did not pay for your juice". I almost hadn't grabbed the receipt, being a little anxious to get to the station. I'm glad I did! Not that we should be under constant surveillance, but as an Amazon Prime member, I'd have thought their cameras might have picked up on my face the moment I walked in. Or something like that. Maybe it was an odd day. It happens. But I just can't bring myself to give the 5 stars after being incorrectly profiled and accused of stealing a $3 juice.

We make you wait! That should be their motto. No matter what time you get there. Whole Foods is a whole block long. This morning got there around 8. They had ONE cashier accepting cash. YUK! A disgrace!!!

great selection even with its compact, efficient layout. as usual with Whole Foods the produce is fabulous. self-checkout line is never too long.I wish they would have tables to eat the prepared food you buy there but it is a very small space.
