I want to make a distinction between Jackson Hewitt & Laura, the tax specialist I saw in Oneonta: Jackson Hewitt is RIDICULOUSLY PRICED and their business model shows questionable ethics when it comes to pricing and transparency. That being said, Laura, who prepared my somewhat complicated taxes was very professional, accommodating, and friendly. I wish she would quit Jackson Hewitt & start her own tax prep company because she has a conscience and would not charge an arm and a leg to file your taxes - IF SHE DID FEEL LIKE CHARGING THAT MUCH she would at the very least be up front about it so you could make an informed decision about using her service or not.The 5 stars are specifically for Laura, but I will never use Jackson Hewitt again.

make a appt n go n I am there 15 min early for the tax preparer to not even be there n u call customer service n get treated like u r just another number. Horrible service n yet they want a 4 hr cancelation notice n yet u get not even a min notice
