I stopped in The Artisans' Guild Of Oneonta, NY last week to pick up a couple of things, including some of Gina Pywar’s Italian cookies for my husband’s birthday. I accidentally grabbed her gluten-free version (we don’t have issues with gluten) and they were delicious!

I was rudely yelled at to put on a face mask if I wanted to shop there. I'm not sick, and I don't live in fear. There exists at present NO MASK MANDATES in New York. The lady was not kind about it, so I'll never patronize that establishment in the future. Great way to go out of business. Asymptomatic transmission has never been proven, by the way! If folks are sick, they should be responsible and STAY HOME. I wouldn't have taken my time out had the management been respectful, and not yelled at me. Art is all about creativity, not arbitrary rules.

Very friendly and helpful people. The artisan-made products are beautiful, got another handmade mug for my collection. Chris at the front desk was awesome, even when another customer was extremely rude to her. Customer service at its best.

So many different and all local artists are here, with different products and styles. A great selection of pottery, fiber products, art, chocolates, jewelry, wooden toys, all the way to gorgeous light switch and outlet covers! So many different, unique, and well crafted local artists who sell here. Also the pricing! It is all very reasonably priced...and so dare I say a good bargain for what you are getting! While also making it possible for a family on a tight budget to support and purchase from amazing artists and craftspeople!
