I recently had the pleasure of attending Great Erie FCU's annual meeting and was genuinely impressed by their ongoing commitment to their members and the services they offer. I highly recommend considering a switch to Great Erie FCU to experience the unique banking culture they provide. It's like being part of a private club! Don’t waste your time! We have been members for over 20 years. All locations have gone down hill drastically. You cannot even talk to a person anymore. We called for a loan rate and left a message. They couldn’t even bother to call us back. So I went to another credit union in Orchard Park and were treated wonderfully. We will be closing out accounts soon.

I have been a GEFCU member since moving to Elma NY for approximately the last 10 years. I chose this banking institution after a 30+ year relationship with one of the largest banks in WNY. I had been notified by my previous bank that after this long history, they were going to begin charging me fees on my accounts, regardless of the fact that all of my finances and assets were handled through this bank. After an in-person meeting with an account representative I was essentially informed "too bad". So I withdrew all of my withholdings and sought another bank with the right fit for me.My search led me to GEFCU. They have absolutely incredible online accessibility enabling me to conduct business online approximately 95% of the time which meets my banking needs. Whenever there's been any type of issue a simple phone call with staff always ready to help, resolved my issues There is a convenient satellite location in East Aurora making in-person banking seamless.Last year I was in the process of a home refinance. Once again after searching for available options I landed with GEFCU's financial partner, Owner's Choice Funding. Amazingly competitive rate, simply application and acceptance process. I had my new mortgage approved and in place in less than 30 days!Finally, I was searching for a longer term invest option with a reasonable rate of return. GEFCU did not offer a comparative rate to some of the other local banks. When I went to withdraw funds to move to another bank, the teller (Michael) went above and beyond. After contacting his manager for authorization, GEFCU came through again. They matched the rate of their competitor, a win-win for both myself and GEFCU. If it weren't for the personal efforts of this employee my assets would have been directed elsewhere.I wouldn't consider any other banking institution based on my 150% positive experience in EVERY aspect at GEFCU. Great services, great rates, and employees who care about their customers each and every day!

My family and I have been members since my folks opened their accounts in 1965. With a move for them happening soon, we needed to speak with someone in person and get questions answered for my folks. We got paired with Bill and I thank him for everything he did. Not only did he answer all of their questions but he also suggested things we didn’t even think about. He went above and beyond for us, a small act of kindness, and we are very grateful.

I had great frustration when I discovered that I could not access my online account with the credit union. I received great customer service in successfully resolving this issue as it was determined that my Virtual Private Network was the culprit. The suggestions offered to work around the VPN resolved my problem. Thanks to Bill’s patient work with me, a solution was found. I am very impressed with the great customer service that I received.
