The store is a mess. They need to clean up, merchandise is not stock correctly. Just thrown anywhere.

The staff was kind and courteous even while they were waiting to close up to go home on Christmas Eve.

The store needs to be more attractive, appealingIt needs a feminine touch in managing. The first time I came in, I thought the store was closing for good. It was really very hot, no air conditioning working, I almost passed out. Other Dollar tree stores I visited are much better equipped and much brighter in lighting..

Long lines, the store is messy, and some customers just toss items around and not enough staff.

Regional management needs to come in. This is ridiculous. Inventory should never be all over the floor! That’s unsanitary and this is in the middle of the day at 4 in the afternoon. How is this ok ? My father is a manager In Virginia Beach. Not once is it taught to have all the items on the ground. This is a regular thing that happens at this location especially during day hours. Pls better management ! Better service better everything at this location. All the kids items who are already always sick! On the floor ! Disgusting ! Do better !

This dollar tree location was in total disarray. Store items were all over the place including the floor. Shelves were not stocked however boxes upon open boxes were though out the aisles were customers were helping themselves to items needed..... UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!

Sooo I felt so bad for the one guy at the register because he was the ONLY employee at a register(give this guy a raise). The other employees were no were to be found. The line was so long it went down a full aisle. Definitely think this place needs to be managed better.

One word “ghetto” …. I went there twice this week. For the moment I stepped in the store I was turned off! It’s a freaking MESS! Items all over the floor, shopping carts in the aisles used as a storage basket. Went to check out & the cashier put his finger up like a “wait” when I asked if he’s open. There’s a lady in the office who was loud as hell. Saying “I’m a beat your a*** …. It’s always crowded and ONLY ONE CASHIER working. I’m not for folks losing their job but a MAJOR TRAINING IS NEEDED! I was disgusted and I went to the dollar tree on Jericho turnpike off Jamaica Ave! That store is CLEAN, STOCKED, MULTIPLE CASHIERS, & the supervisor or store manager is not yelling “I’m a beat your a***** The Indian (Asian) (Hindu) store managers at Jericho turnpike need to come over and fix this store. When I say fix, I mean TRAIN THE EMPLOYEES.One other time I went to this store, there was once again a long line and ONE CASHIER! This light skin lady on the heavier side yelled out, “if you have a problem with the line not moving fast enough; go complain to corporate” “this is how they feel about the hood” “corporate doesn’t care & that’s why they give store towards Long Island better staffing” smh! This is why I say “ghetto”. Someone of some kid of store leadership should of never spoke to customers like that.

Even though they raised their prices, they're still the cheapest place in town!

This particular Dollar tree is run as if the store cares about its surrounding neighbors and customers. The store is very clean, very organized, and the employees really know where everything is. They also have things like large frozen pizza that are several dollars, not just the $1.25 fare. They also have a large selection of frozen foods, and heat and serve.

I usually do not come to this store on regular basis but since this is closer to my house, instead of going to Dutch Broadway where I shop mostly, I decided to support my neighborhood, shop to this store to my huge disappointment this morning 9/28/2022 at around 8:45 am to 9am. I was trying to exchange a photo frame that I bought a day before because it had cracked on the edge which was not visible or noticeable while wrapped in plastic. I spoke with a very light skin woman, introduced herself as the store manager with her name Maria. ( Didn't see her badge with her name on it).Ms. Maria was dismissive, didn't want to listen to my explanation that frame cracked on the edge was not noticeable while wrapped in plastic. Cut me off from talking , didn't apologies apologize and Stated "Dollar tree does not accept opened item. You did not buy this broken repeated 3x. The cashier would not have sold it to you broken." Walked away saying " Goodbye, have a good day "with an attitude went inside her office and closed the door. When I knocked on door demanding to give me a name or number of a person I can file a complaint, Maria yelled from inside office why am I bothering her for just a dollar item. I answered that it is not the amount of the item it is about a principle and her behavior unbecoming of a store manager.Another employee inside her office came out ,introduced herself as having same position, tried to help settle the issue but Maria directed the person not to talk and listen to me, directed the employee to go back inside the office and told me " I am her boss."This condescending, humiliating, discriminating behavior of a store manager to a customer or anyone is totally unacceptable.Have been coming to this store sporadically for years, never encountered issue. Exchanged broken item before without any problem. I gave this 1 star because a store manager unprofessional behavior has huge weight when it comes to rating a store. Store manager is expected to have a special training to settle different level of issues in the store but Ms. Maria failed to show she had training dealing with basic customer service.

Today 7/7/2022 at noon the 2 "female" cashiers had disappointing behavior.Terrible way to talk to customers, with an unpleasant way treating a person with a disabilityExtremely RUDE when speaking in a really nasty way.On the contrary, the male employee working on the floor refilling merchandise was very helpful.

Its slow and there's usually only 1 cashier working to be fair to her the line got long fast and she was trying to be fast. They should put more people on the schedule especially on the weekends.
