the lines are always long and the workers and managers are rude. theres no reason i should be on a line for more than few minutes. i would not give any stars as they don't deserve it. ridiculous and a waste of peoples time!

I had a product ordered online, 14k ring. Wishing my first time wearing I noticed one of the cz stones fell off. It was a sentimental gift and I rly wanted to keep it so i was quite disappointed. I called the closest T.J. Maxx, someone asked me to call customer service. The lady was so helpful and told me that I could mail it in or go to the store which was closest with the order summary which I did and the lady a the register gave me abit of a hard time( which I guess we was following "protocol". I was not happy I traveled there and was having to explain to her many times that I was told different. I asked for a manager and spoke to Ray. He made the process so fast and convenient. I literally am so grateful for employees like him. Thank you!!! I'll be shopping here again soon.

Great discount store in general, if ever I could find this location!! I get to the Rego Park Mall where jt is said to be and I walk through a very long strip with literally EVERY store to mankind. I pass by what I swear looked like a Carls Jr and thought to myself "Holy .... Did I wind up in LA? Had I gone that far?" So finally I see the Escalator all the way near Alaska and went up since I was told the store was suppose to be on the 3rd floor. Meanwhile no signs, nada. Once getting up there I find out its on the first!! At this point, I'm just done , my desire to shop at this fantom store has died, I seriously dint feel like spending my whole day off being a ping-pong ball around the Rito center mall

This is a great store, I went once with my ex-husband and I snagged a really great Betsey Johnson wallet for $15. I haven't been back since but I did notice that they had lots of sales and really nice items even the food stuff was great! You can't get off that line without buying something to eat LOL. Leaving this review reminds me that it's time to go back for another spray! You won't be disappointed but pre-prepared for a very long check-out line

My wife loves this store. Exactly the same as Marshall's but slanted more to the female demographic. I have found a couple of things here and there, but my wife has scored big at times on everything from jewelry to shoes

OMG!!!! Do not shop here unless you want to attitude from the staff. It's as if that are slaves being told to do something. This is there job. And very easy. I just do t understand how a organization is ran like this.

Very well organized "mark down" store, featuring well-known brands at reduced prices. Last season's style? Hmm... I could not tell if that was the case. Also, for this particular location, when I day "well organized", I mean the store is VERY well maintained, not clothes all over the floor, as in some other mark-down stores. (Don't worry, Marshall's... I won't mention your Gateway Mall store by name.)

Management does not seem to give a damn about this store. The shelves are in total disarray, price tags on much of the merchandise are missing and, worst of all, the line for check out is interminable. On a quiet Wednesday I had to wait over 45 minutes to pay for my clothes.

First let me start by saying TJMAXX is my favorite store hands down. I have been a loyal shopper for almost 8 years, whenever I need a gift for someone or just shopping for myself in general this is my go to store. Not this location though. On occasion if I am in the area I would go take a look and see what they have I have found excellent deals on handbags marked down Micheal Kors bookbag for 89$, kate spade watch I got for 89$ . The store had some changes from the last time I visited the shoes are in the back which isn't bad you can find good deals on boots but there isn't a wide selection of wallets. I made a big purchase couple years ago and when I went home I realized the cashier charged me twice for an item. I immediately called the store and explained the situation went in the next day and the manager at the time a young woman who wore a head covering accused me of stealing ! Wtf! I was baffled look at the security camera if you believe this to be true she didn't but i got my refund and I went on my way. I am shocked that a supervisor who obviously has no experience with customer service can accuse someone who obviously made a big purchase of stealing. I've been shopping on and off there for so long and was completely turned off by this. I didn't go back for about a couple years I recently started shopping here again the employees are very nice and helpful the lines can get pretty long I prefer to go early to beat the rush. Parking is not so good in This area if you don't mind spending a couple bucks on parking in the lot and it's better to take the train . Other than that I would go again but I prefer to shop at the other locations 5 towns or Whitestone .

I placed a huge online order and needed to return several items. I hd the receipt and everything but when I went to the Atlas Park TJMaxx the associate and manager were so annoyed that it was an online order and refused to return it. Then they went on to say it was because it wasn't in the plastic bags they came in which had the labels. I told them them items themself had tags on them and I can tell them which is which but they refused and turned me away with this huge bag. I called this TJMaxx and the manager on teh phone told me to come in no problem they'll match items by looking at the receipt. I came in and the associate at first was visibly aggravted but said he can of course still do it and went to work. That day I was so impressed by the kindness and professionalism by Debbie and Richard at this location. I was ready to never shop at TJMaxx again but they definitely changed my mind. They assured me that of course a return can still be completed and what the other store said was simply untrue. Yes its harder, but not impossible. Amazing customer service!

Terrible experience at this location. 45 plus minute wait to purchase because 2 out of 14 registers were open even though there were employees casually strolling around the store. Even the manager was just standing there. Everyone on line was pissed. The TJMAXX in atlas park is way better even though it is smaller but more organization and much better service. I will not per purchasing anything from this location because I don't have an hour after work to just wait in line. They need to most definelty work on that. Even the floor were sticky and gross. Not work going here. It is located in the Rego Park center so you do have to pay to park. There is ample parking

It pains me to have to write this review because this TJ MAXX is located in my own backyard. I love shopping at TJ MAXX but this store is by far the worst one. The Store Manager or whoever is in charge should be FIRED for having the store look like a war zone! Truly disgusting of the brand and representation. Clothing, toys and housewares items thrown all over the store and floor. Empty Shopping carts all disarray and left in the middle of the aisles where customers have no way of getting through. The store manager in this location have no skills in directing their employees at how to quickly organize and make sure each of their department is well organized and presentable for their TJ MAXX customers to feel good in shopping in their store. When spending good Money one should not shop in a store that is a complete mess!! Two cashiers open is also totally unacceptable!!! Lines are a 30 minute wait every time!! Ugh insane. Management from HOME OFFICE please do something about this. So much potential here if you would just clean up your act and not have customers walk out and shop at a neater and more well organized store like Century 21 Department Store across the way. please make a visit and see the utter mess for yourself. Time to get TJ Maxx to start restocking the shelves please!!! What the hell.

Yes to this store!!! I love a great find/deal. I've been seeing on Instagram so many people taking the Tjmaxx $50 challenge to buy an outfit for $50 or under. I love it and this place is definitely the place for that. There are so many cute name brand outfits and dresses. My favorite is the workout clothes. I live that they carry Nike, addidas, Calvin Klein and others. I can dress hella cute for super cheap. I love the section for home decor. I just feel like I can fill my little apartment with so many cute finds.

Horrible customer service! WOW! My family and I often buy from Tj Maxx in Rego Park. I've never been so disappointed. We went there on Tuesday, June 5th around 3 p.m. We were looking at some jewelry. We got to meet the most obnoxious person, with the most disgusting service. I said "Hello" so she would acknowledge our presence. She totally ignored me. I tried one more time, that's when she turns around with a sour face and responds: "I will come after I finish with this person!" Obviously, that was the idea. I only wanted her to acknowledge we were next. Then, after waiting 15 mn, I asked her again if she could call another person to help and again, she didn't respond. Asked again and she responded, with the same sour face: "If I could, I would have done it!". Like I am supposed to read minds. She should have nicely & promptly accommodate our need or at least to let us know she will be attending us soon. That's a great customer service, which you badly need, TJ Maxx! And highly trained people, opposed to the ones that don't enjoy their job and are rude. Then I stepped away to ask the cashier if they can send another person to the jewelry department. Meanwhile, I left my mother there. The representative purposely went to attend a different person, not my mother (my mother is from overseas so she is very shy). And when I went to ask her why she did that, she said: "Because you left!" I left but she saw my mother was still there for the whole time. Really Tj Maxx? This is the kind of people serving your business? In case you didn't realize, these people work in customer service and represent your business. I will not buy from Tj Maxx again. I felt very disrespected. Spoke to Peter, the manager. I don't know if he will do anything. P.S.: My brother also got two watches from the same lady and he confessed to have received the same treatment.

The worst experience ever in this store even though there is always a mess here, specially in the makeup,beauty,lotion and liquid soaps,oils area. I come here cuz this is the closest to my house. Anyway today 5/7/18 around 8:15pm I was trying to buy two high chairs but I was waiting for the yes from my mom which I send the pic before I make the line to pay other stuff that I already had in my shopping car So after I got the yes to buy this chair I got out the line to go get them, two to be exact so I got some of the employees that actually is really rare when they "are available to help"me bring the chairs to the front he took like 10 to 15 min to come back with a wooden flat wheel to get this chairs to the cashiers, I got to the from ready to pay I was next cuz I saw the lady who was in front of me paying already and the cashier who saw me in the loooooooooong line before, said to me I can take you here! The manager who acted he didn't speak Spanish and was next to her , said to her.... No she have to make the line again so since I was already in the line for so long because there's was only 3 cashiers open and there's was more then 35 people in the line, I told the manager if you could call that piece of s...t "manager" forget it I don't want anything you know I was on the line before. He responded to me whatever ok. If this store continue like this I could tell you they're going out of business soon. Worst manager ever. I was going to spend more then $200 dollars because only the chairs was 59.99 each and I had two, plus other Mother's Day stuff. But since he is just employee he don't care about customer services, he is going to get pay regardless rights? But since I am a business owner I do care about my business, customer/ clients/ and selling too.

The merchandise here is limited in quantity and some is shopworn. If you see what you like pick it up immediately or it may not be there later. There is almost no floor saleshelp and the few I approached were surly at best. I dont recommend this store.

Cheap and Good merchandise as others Tjmaxx but the store is smaller than that ones. Long lines, some damage and opent products. You can find some good high end stuff, if you had some lucky and time to waste.

Yesterday I had one of my best experiences at TJ Maxx in Rego Park Center. I go here several times a month and always find things that I like to buy. I may not do so but I definitely like to browse. Never had any complaints about customer service or cleanliness whatsoever. But yesterday something happened that made me want to leave this review! I met Diane, the manager. It was pretty foolish really, but I wanted to make sure I could return an item that I felt a little sentimental about in the case that it would break (since it had a little crack in it). Diane took her time to make sure I felt appreciated as a customer but also took time to listen to me regarding the item and was very sensitive to why I wanted it. Long story short - what an amazingly sweet human being, Diane is! I'm gonna make sure to see her again next time I go.

I got 2 accent chairs ,a steamer, socks and an elephant!! The beautiful chairs had some scratches on the legs but the manager was nice enough to give me a 10% off. Yay!!!! Tjmaxx is a good store but I love century 21 better. It's a tad bit of a mess every time I walk in here. Everything is just scattered all over the place. Prices are on the good side. The lines can get ridiculous so have some patience.

I am very disappointed with what I observed at this TJ Maxx today. In the past, I have been a complete advocate of this store. My opinion has wildly changed today. I observed the interaction between the client and cashier in front of me. The cashier asked the client "Do you have a credit card with us?" The client responded "no." The cashier questioned "why?" The client responded saying "I applied a month ago and I got declined." The cashier responded saying "after 30 days you can go ahead and apply again." She proceeded by taking the client's application. I work in banking and taking another application after 30 days is absolutely not recommended. There is so much more involved in the process, such as understanding why the client go declined, number of inquiries on your credit, etc. A large number of inquiries on your credit affects you as well. When I approached my cashier, I also got asked if I had a credit card and if I wanted to apply. I stated no. A woman, who appeared to be a manager, walked past my cashier and asked my cashier "are you taking a credit card app?" The cashier stated "no, I'm trying." The woman responded saying "try harder." I understand each business has a quota to fill. However, each business must approach is from the perspective of the client. Each business should be doing right by the client. How does a client trust a business after getting declined for a credit card several times, even though the associate pushed for it? How does a client want to come back to a company after hearing "try harder with credit card apps?" How does this benefit a business? What kind of training is provided to associates to allow them to understand the proper taking of an application? Do they even know the qualifications? I hope this review can serve as a means for clients who walk into this store can think twice prior to taking the advice of a cashier about running their credit.
