While the truck rental itself was fine, the customer service was probably one of the worst that we have ever had!! One of the employees outside screamed at us after not handing over the keys to the truck after we tried to bring them inside. She had no name tag or uniform to indicate she was an employee and came out of a random unmarked black van to take the keys. For people that are renting a U-Haul for the first time how are people supposed to know this is how things are done?? It was beyond extremely unprofessional and it created a terrible experience for us after moving all day.

Set a reservation for 9 AM. The employee unlocked the door late and was giving me an attitude for being there so early. Terrible customer service I said hello when I came in he didn’t even respond. He just wanted to get me out of the door as fast as possible. Every question I asked was met with some sort of attitude.

NEVER RENT FROM HERE. This morning I made a reservation at this location for 430pm. I left work and got here at 4:29pm. As im walking up a gentleman is getting in his car. 25 minutes later he returns and is the staff on duty. As soon as I walked in the building he said, "Its not that serious and you can go get a rental somewhere else!"I replied sir, you could have said something to me when you walked past me. I called uhal while i was waiting and corporate said the manager is in the back and coming to help.I asked for the manager (who wasn't really there) and he refused to provide ger name, go get her or provide a number.I then while in store called corporate back. The manager now called the store and refused to talk to me and said corporate was aware they wouldn't rent to me. I asked why and they lied and said i was rude and not answering they questions. When I confronted corporate they said they have to back what the store said even tho i had a witness in the store that all i did was reach out to corporate about what to do because there is a note on the door at the time of my reservation.This place has extreme rude management and Staff. Please spend your money elsewhere!!

BELOW 1 STAR….. NEVER AGAIN!It was not mentioned that there is a $100 holding fee to your credit card at time of rental. Customer service was terrible, except for the young lady I spoke to outside of the building. My reservations were originally 10am to 2pm. I ran late, due to an engagement and picked up the rental around 10:50am. And was given only 3 hours for the rental. I called and asked for an hour or two for an extension. He said NO! I asked if someone else had that particular vehicle for rental after me? He said NO! That his location was extremely busy. (There were other vehicles for rental in the parking lot). Long story short, I called customer service, that young man was rude. So I asked him to transfer me to someone else. That young lady was exceptionally nice! ? (I was told that there is NO addition charge because we really could keep the vehicle up to 24 hours). I’m completely dumb founded ?

Young man working during the time frame of my return was rude. I was charged another day of rental and insurance because I was 10 mins late returning my rental per my reservation time but I actually didn't receive my truck on pickup day until 1:59 pm and it took the rep on drop off day 15 mins to check me out so my return time in my paperwork was not accurate.

There's 4 other uhauls within 5 minutes of this location, I recommend you go to any of the other 4 before this one. The one star reviews they have accrued on this platform are here for a reason. An embarrassment to uhauls and the city of Rochester alike. Take your buisness elsewhere and save yourself from unnecessary headache and delays.

Unprofessional and it seems like they don’t want to work at this store. We came an hour before the store was closing but they refused to serve us and said that they don’t feel like working and asked us to go to a different store.

Unprofessional. Unclean. Useless employees. Absolutely the worst customer service and best of all they don't even follow the information on their website. Would never recommend someone to go here. You're better off going to a better location
