I have been here twice now and both were for TooGoodToGo orders. Both times I have had a chance to chat with the staff and buy something extra. The bagels have a great crust in them, and make for great bread in whatever use. They freeze well and taste great reheated. The empanadas are very good they are Dominican style and the Bindy was a steal at 4.99. They have coupons in store so use them. There is indoor seating but it's a small place so it's more grab and go for me. It's a nice local spot, kind staff and good quality bagels. 5/5 stars

Order a Cinnamon raisin bagel with whitefish salad. There was barely any white fish on it and the bagel was hard and chewy not worth a second chance at this place for nine bucks for the sandwiches.

although the food is amazing and the owner is great , the ladies there over charges me for the last 3 visits. everytime I go there the same sandwich costs a different price and once I bought it to the owners attention and he said he handle it but still hasn't and now when I walk in the ladies are mean and do not greet me any moreand I'm scared to let them make my favorite sandwich when the owner is not there . I'm truly sad because I've been coming here for 4 years and this is the best bagel spot in valley stream.

I would not recommend coming here. One lady came to pay with a $50 and the cashier didn't realize and gave her the wrong change. Also when I got my bagel I realized there was 2 little hairs on the bottom.

We stumbled upon this gem because it was in walking distance from our hotel. This was a chewy, delicious, and perfect NYC bagel. I am going to be back!

Place doesn't look like much from outside and is pretty small inside but I tried it for the first time the other day and the bagels were good. I had a bacon egg and cheese on a toasted sesame bagel which was good.

Little to go place. Everything you need for a quick breakfast. They get extremely busy so call ahead. A variety of bagels and lots of ways to add on to their options. Haven't been disappointed yet.

How do you not love this place, they move a little slow but I keep coming back, because it's fresh, and they have great customer service. The fresh drinks are my favorite , they have a new home made ginger drink that I'm obsessed with because it's soooooo good.

Came here for breakfast today, it's a small cute place they have really good deals it seems during the work week. My bacon egg and cheese had a good ratio. There is nothing like a New York bagel they offer other food as well like chicken and beef empanadas. I will definitely stop here again!

A breath of fresh air in the breakfast space in Valley Stream. Great bagels and traditional breakfast foods, in addition to great empanadas. Very happy each time I order from here.

The food was sloppy and not good. I ordered an everything bagel toasted with butter, cream cheese and jelly and bacon egg and cheese on a bagel. Firstly the service was horrible, the lady seemed as if she couldn't handle the volume that was coming in and she kept recycling her gloves; remind you there was a box of gloves in front of her that she did not touched the whole time I was there. She ended up touching the "rag", they use to wipe down surfaces, with the glove. It took me 20 minutes to be serviced and not one person said 'sorry for the wait or excuse the waiting time'. When I finally got to order the man said "talk to me, tell me what you want" and that was it. My husband goes in to pick up our order after I waited 20 minutes to place the order and asked what's taking so long and once received, it was sloppy, my bagel was smushed and all over the place and my husband's sandwich was oily, no salt and pepper and only half of it had bacon on it. Smh. Look I understand it's a pandemic so they probably didn't have the staff they're used too but being polite and apologetic goes a long way.

The staff are very nice. Their bagels are good and freshly made in the back. The cafe is really good compared to DD and other ones in the area. They also have fresh OJ if requested. I recommend this place.

First time in Bagel Express since it was taken over by new owners. Everything was delicious!! We got a baker's dozen bagels - French Toast, Blueberry, Cinnamon Raisin, Sesame, Poppy, and Whole Wheat Everything. For spreads we got walnut cream cheese (delicious on the sweet bagels), lox cream cheese, and vegetable cream cheese. The bagels were crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside and the spreads were all so fresh and good. This is definitely my new favorite place for bagels.
