“THE BEST HALAL MEAT ! Not only is the meat HIGH QUALITY ! The people are 10/10 come to see NINI THE FUNNY BUTCHER, my new best friend and yours. I won’t go anywhere else ! NINI IS THE ONLY ONE !”
“Love this place if you know then you know everything here is the best and closest salumeria to being in Italy as it gets only the best when I'm in the bronx god bless”
“I enjoyed the marbled pork belly and thinly sliced pork belly~The price is good and the meat quality is good^^I’m looking forward to it because I’ve heard that the seasoned pork neck is delicious too.”
“This has been my go to location to buy meat a couple of years now. I highly recommend everyone to go here. Luis is awesome he is always so helpful and his team also.”
“They were so generous and allowed sampling of anything possible. I ended up getting the goose/pork Pate (good but I didn't like the packaging), Istrian vrat (pork), and manouri cheese (so good, a nice snacking cheese). They did charge me 9.99 a pound for the cheese when it said 7.99, so I would check for prices. I tried their dried beef and really liked it so might go for that next time.”
“The best butcher. So friendly and knowledgeable! Always willing to help find the best cuts. They have everything or can get anything next day. Prices are extremely fair. Don’t get meat anywhere else!!!”
“This place has very quickly become one of my favorite places to eat in the area PERIOD. The sandwich variety and quality is amazing. They’re more expensive than what I’m used to for a sandwich (I’m not from NYC), but as soon as you take a bite, you get it. I always forget to take a photo when I go here because I am so focused on eating! Portion size is large, and I usually eat one sandwich over two meals. Staff make excellent recommendations, are genuine, and usually offer a free sample of whatever they’ve just made, which is a very nice touch. Their house vodka sauce is delicious. They also make fresh pasta, and I’ve enjoyed their gnocchi. Will be back again and again and again.”
“The Arthur Avenue Retail Market is one of several public food halls across the city, including Essex Market (LES), Jamaica Farmers Market (Queens), La Marqueta (Harlem), and the Moore Street Market (Brooklyn). The Arthur Avenue market opened in 1940 to serve the predominantly Italian neighborhood and still does to this day. There are several vendors, including butchers, fresh produce sellers, dry goods, and at least one restaurant and sandwich joint.I was running errands in the area and needed a sandwich, so I ordered a mortadella and broccoli raab sandwich from Mike's in the back on the right. They also offer many pre-made sandwiches if you are in a rush, but I like to order off the menu. The butchers look great and have an assortment of specialties, including offal and fresh rabbits. I can't wait to see what they offer around Easter time. There are a few tables near the bar in the back and as part of the restaurant, but it's hard to say if you are welcome to sit there to eat a sandwich. Regardless, it's a great spot to check out if you are walking along and want to pop into NYC, equivalent to a European food hall.”
“Best Meat Market in NYC. Take a step back into the wonderful world of the neighborhood butcher. Great customer service. Good quality excellent value. A true neighborhood gem. If you don't go there you will miss outn out ona truly exceptional experience. Incredible prices, fresh meat he actually trims the meat before weighing it. Where do you see that? I wish I could find a place like that here in myNew home of Florida.”
“Loved the attention! Meats are fresh. Products are consistently replenished. Customer service is poppin, the people who work here are very hospitable and welcoming. Prices are awesome- super reasonable considering inflation. Even the cashier was sweet and informative!”
“Went there today with my mom and it was a good experience. The man behind the counter was very patient with our questions and helped us get everything we wanted. Drove far to get there but worth it. Left with two bags full of meat for under $90. Will definitely go there again.”
“My neighborhood butcher. Great steaks, cold cuts, fresh bread, eggs. They've got what you need. The homemade sausage is delicious. Try the chicken and broccoli rabe.”

“There are a few butcher shops on authur ave but for me this is my favorite. This place will literally do whatever you want them to do to a cut of meat. They also carry things like duck, lamb, rabbit, quail, and a few other more exotic meats if you're into that kind of stuff. Great place and make sure you ask for Jimmy he is a true professional!”
“Chicken Caesar wrap was delicious and enough and portion was generous. Also got to see some cool product you don’t see anywhere else. Try the espresso soda it’s really good! Staff was also very accommodating. 5/5”
“I only started to use them about 2+ yrs ago, after my other Butcher, who my family used from when I kid, acted like an idiot during Covid. So a friend recommended me to Richie's!The place is Clean, lots of items on display, and always fresh! Every guy I ever dealt with has been extremely nice and pleasant. When you walk in, there is always a greeting with a smile! Arturo is doing a fantastic job!”

“All kinds of smoked meats and sausages. Clean and friendly, the aroma of the spices and smoked cuts brings one back in time, to the trusted butchers of yesteryear.”

“The best meat and deli in town. Bill’s has got the best cuts of meat and the best quality of meats. The girls are always helpful and friendly. Try a meat and cheese or veggie tray for your get togethers. You will not be disappointed.”
“The best meats ever. No comparison to the meats we buy in the supermarkets. Astoria used to have lots of small butcher's shops, about thirty years ago, and people had choices. The International Meat Market is now one of two or three such shops. Their service is excellent.”
“Probably one of the best places to get chicken since it's quite cheap. It's mostly Latin products sold in here so aside from that there isn't much to say.”
“The best Polish deli ever. Kielbasa and Golompkis were great but the Pierogies were the best we've ever had. My wife is Polish and they were better than hers. AWESOME JOB !!!”
“A+ Butcher shop. Prepared foods are amazing, and Kenny is always there with a smile and a reccomendation!I must pass 20 butcher shops on the 30 minute ride to get to A&F but the ride is always worth it.Thanks guys keep up with the good work!”
“Great shop filled with everything you could possibly want to eat! So many freshly prepared individual meals, a huge assortment of fresh pasta and any kind of sauce you can think of! Fresh breads and desserts. Worth the trip to see what you fancy!”
“Highly recommend!!!! Officially my FAVORITE butchers in Queens; Sal & Charlie do not mess around. The quality of the meats is exceptional. Our dry aged tomahawk steak was unbelievably delicious. I mean, look at that prime cut… superb. Would even make a vegetarian second guess themselves!”
